What the $799.99 Galaxy Z Flip 7 deal included
Contemporaneous coverage reported Samsung discounting the U.S. unlocked 256GB Galaxy Z Flip 7 to $799.99 without requiring customers to surrender an old phone. The standard promotional discount was separate from Samsung’s “up to $600 off” trade-in offer. SamMobile reported the no-trade-in promotion and said shoppers could select “No” for the trade-in option.

How shoppers qualified for the price

- Choose “No” when asked about a trade-in.
- Verify that the promotional price remains $799.99 in the cart before submitting payment.
- Pay in full, or select Samsung Financing or four-installment payment if eligible. The reported device discount was the same across those payment choices, but approval rules, disclosures and any late-payment consequences are separate from the phone promotion.
256GB versus 512GB
The $799.99 headline applied to the 256GB configuration, not both storage options. The 512GB model was also discounted during the promotion, but contemporaneous reporting placed it at approximately $919.99.

Samsung’s holiday advertising also promoted savings of up to $600 with an eligible trade-in, which could produce an advertised starting price near $499.99. Tom’s Guide reported the maximum trade-in figure. That amount depended on the phone submitted, its condition and Samsung’s eligibility rules.

The deal coverage linked to Samsung’s U.S. unlocked product listings rather than a carrier-specific SKU. Samsung’s identified pages were the 256GB unlocked model and 512GB unlocked model. A carrier listing elsewhere is a different offer, even if its effective price is lower.
When was the deal available?
The $799.99 price was tied to Samsung’s U.S. Black Friday and Cyber Monday 2025 promotion. Coverage appeared on November 19, November 25, November 26 and November 27, with Cyber Monday coverage on December 1. Those reports show the price was live for part of the holiday window, but they do not establish an exact start or end time.

How it compared with other 2025 offers
Samsung’s direct purchase was not proven to be the lowest price from every seller. 9to5Google tracked the phone around $900 at Amazon during Black Friday while describing Samsung’s direct discount separately. Carrier promotions could produce a lower effective cost, but they were not equivalent to buying an unlocked phone for $799.99 without a trade-in or bill-credit commitment.
