The unlocked 256GB Samsung Galaxy S24 FE was reported at $584.94 on Amazon on May 19, 2026—$125.05 below its $709.99 listed U.S. MSRP. That was a meaningful discount, but it does not establish that the deal is available now. Before buying, confirm the checkout price, condition, seller, U.S. model and warranty; compare the total with the newer Galaxy S25 FE.

What the $584.94 S24 FE deal included—and what is known

The May 19 deal report identified an Amazon offer for the unlocked 256GB Galaxy S24 FE at $584.94. Samsung’s U.S. MSRP file lists the 8GB/256GB unlocked Graphite model, number SM-S721UZKEXAA, at $709.99. The reported reduction is $125.05, or about 17.6% of that MSRP.

The price and discount are documented in the May 19 deal report; Samsung’s listed price and model details are in its U.S. MSRP file. The report does not establish that $584.94 is still live, nor does it settle every listing detail—such as which seller had the offer, whether every color qualified, or whether a coupon or other checkout condition applied. Treat it as a previously reported deal, not a guaranteed current price or an all-time low.

Why the S24 FE can still be worth considering

Large, fast display and 256GB storage

The S24 FE has a 6.7-inch display with a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, plus a 256GB storage configuration. That combination suits buyers who want a roomy screen and substantial built-in storage. It is also a large handset, so it is a less natural choice for someone prioritizing compact dimensions. Do not assume that a low-priced listing is the 256GB version: confirm the capacity on the product page and in the order details.

Galaxy features and long software support

Samsung identifies the U.S. S24 FE processor as Exynos 2400e and promotes Galaxy AI features on its U.S. product page. At launch, Samsung promised seven generations of OS upgrades and seven years of security updates; the commitment appears in the company’s S24 FE announcement. That support promise is a meaningful part of the value, though it does not make the older-generation model equivalent to a newer phone in hardware or features.

  • The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.

Unlocked does not mean compatible with every carrier feature

An unlocked phone is not tied to one carrier in the same way as a carrier-locked device, but compatibility still depends on the exact model and the carrier’s supported bands and services. Check with your carrier before ordering, especially if you depend on a particular network feature. Samsung’s U.S. MSRP file identifies model SM-S721UZKEXAA in Graphite; a listing labeled only “S24 FE” may not provide enough detail to establish that it is the same U.S. variant.

Check these details before you buy

Retail search results can mix new, renewed, refurbished and open-box devices, sometimes on separate offers attached to a product page. Best Buy listings surfaced for the S24 FE include refurbished inventory and a separate open-box listing; those are not interchangeable with a new phone. Review the condition and terms on the specific offer you are selecting, rather than relying on a search-result headline.

Samsung Galaxy S24 FE, 128GB, Blue - Unlocked (Renewed)
  • The Galaxy S24 FE packs a large 6.7‑inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate, enhanced brightness and a “Vision Booster” mode — ideal for clear, bright visuals even outdoors.
  • Capacity and model: Confirm 256GB and a U.S. model number. Samsung’s listed Graphite SKU is SM-S721UZKEXAA; other legitimate colors or variants may have different identifiers.
  • Condition: Make sure the offer says new if you expect a factory-new phone. “Renewed,” “refurbished,” “used” and “open box” describe different conditions and should not be presented as a new-device deal.
  • Seller and warranty: Check who sells the specific unit, whether the warranty is valid in the United States, and what the return policy covers. A marketplace product page can offer units from different sellers.
  • Unlocked status and carrier fit: Verify that the selected unit is unlocked and ask your carrier whether that exact model supports the service you need.
  • Actual checkout terms: Confirm the price before tax, shipping, any coupon, and whether a trade-in, activation or financing condition is attached. Do not count a conditional trade-in credit as an unconditional price reduction.
  • Box contents: Check the seller’s package listing for the included accessories and whether a power adapter is included; do not assume one is supplied.
  • Return terms: Confirm the deadline and rules for returning an opened device, particularly for third-party or refurbished offers.

Samsung’s S24 FE page describes trade-in terms, including eligibility requirements that can result in a credit being adjusted or charged back if the submitted device does not qualify. Read those conditions before using a trade-in to calculate the effective price.

Examples of Best Buy listings that surfaced include a 256GB unlocked gray product page and a distinct Graphite open-box listing. Their presence does not establish that either is new or priced like the reported Amazon deal; check the selected condition and current terms.

S24 FE or S25 FE: compare the live prices

The S25 FE is the most direct newer-generation alternative. Samsung’s December 2025 U.S. MSRP file lists both 256GB unlocked FE models at $709.99. MSRP alone does not tell you which is the better purchase: compare current checkout prices and whether either offer depends on trade-in or other conditions.

Best fit Buyer who finds a verified new, unlocked U.S. unit at a meaningful discount from the S25 FE Buyer whose live price is close to the S24 FE and who prefers the newer generation

Because the S25 FE is the later generation, its seven-year support period should extend later in practical terms; that is an inference from the generations and Samsung’s support commitments, not a published end-date comparison. Samsung also lists One UI 8.0 features such as the Now Bar for the S25 FE. The available specifications do not establish a precise performance or camera advantage, so choose based on verified price, features you need and support timing rather than an assumed benchmark result.

Other Samsung options and when they make sense

Galaxy A56 5G 256GB

Samsung’s December 2025 U.S. MSRP file lists the 256GB Galaxy A56 5G at $549.99, below the S24 FE’s $709.99 listed MSRP. Consider it if reducing the purchase price matters more than getting the S24 FE’s higher-tier processor and Galaxy S positioning. Current street pricing and the exact specification comparison are not established here, so verify both before deciding; do not assume the MSRP gap is the checkout-price gap.

Used, refurbished or open-box S24 FE

A used or refurbished S24 FE can be reasonable for a buyer willing to trade factory-new condition for a lower price. The price alone is not enough to judge the offer: battery condition, warranty, included accessories, return coverage and the seller’s grading matter. Treat those units as a separate category, not as proof that the new-phone deal is still available.

Is $584.94 a good price?

As an editorial buying guide—not a verified market threshold—these bands help frame an offer for a new, unlocked U.S. 256GB S24 FE with a clear warranty:

  • $550–$585: Excellent value if the seller, condition and warranty check out.
  • $586–$625: Still attractive when the S25 FE costs materially more.
  • $626–$700: Compare carefully with the S25 FE’s actual price and any genuine included benefits.
  • Above $700: Usually difficult to justify at the S24 FE’s listed MSRP unless the offer includes meaningful extras or a legitimate, clearly calculated trade-in benefit.

The reported $584.94 offer fits the strongest band, but only for a qualifying new device at that actual checkout price. A refurbished unit, imported model, unclear warranty or conditional promotion should be evaluated on its own terms. A price-history record shows a move from $637.28 to $584.99, but it does not prove a comprehensive all-time low across sellers, colors and conditions; see the price-history record.

Choose the S24 FE if you can verify a new, unlocked U.S. 256GB unit with a valid warranty at a substantial saving over the S25 FE. If the S25 FE is within roughly $50–$100 at checkout, the newer generation is worth serious consideration; if the S24 FE offer is used or its seller and warranty are unclear, do not treat the headline price as equivalent to the May deal.
