What did the eBay sale include?
Reports described a package of Fyre Festival brand-related intellectual property, trademarks and social-media assets. That description does not establish that every asset or business project connected with “Fyre” was part of the auction.
Separate Fyre-related interests McFarland retained
A December 2025 New York Law Journal report said Billy McFarland retained minority ownership in Fyre Festival Musical and Fyre Music Streaming. Those were separate interests, not assets identified as included in the eBay sale. New York Law Journal.

Who bought the Fyre Festival rights?
EDM.com identified LimeWire as the buyer in a September 17, 2025 report. It said the company planned to reimagine the brand around internet lore and real-world activations. That report describes intentions; it does not establish that LimeWire subsequently launched a festival, product or completed relaunch. EDM.com.
