FP Markets currently calls it the FP Markets Trading App on its website; the app-store name is FP Markets Forex & CFD Trading.
The app is separate from FP Markets’ mobile versions of MetaTrader 4, MetaTrader 5, cTrader, TradingView, WebTrader and Iress. It is designed to combine market monitoring, CFD trading and account management in one application for iOS and Android.
What FP Markets launched
The 2021 announcement described an in-house mobile application intended to let clients follow markets and trade without relying exclusively on a desktop platform. The original release referred to more than 60 currency pairs and more than 50 stocks. Those figures should not be treated as the app’s current limits: FP Markets now advertises 70+ forex CFD pairs, along with CFDs on shares, indices, commodities and cryptocurrencies.
As with FP Markets’ other products, the exact instruments, leverage, payment options and features available to a client can depend on the client’s country, account type and FP Markets entity.

What the current app offers
FP Markets currently advertises the following functions:
- Real-time market monitoring
- Market and limit or pending orders
- Stop-loss and take-profit instructions
- Charts and technical indicators
- Trade monitoring and review
- Portfolio and account management
- A customisable favourites list
- Deposits and withdrawals
- Account functions related to leverage
The store descriptions also list funding through credit and debit cards, wire transfers and PayPal. The app’s earlier release history records additions such as a Forex Calculator, Trading Tools, TradeMedic, cross-currency transfers, callback requests and access to MT5 Web Trader in relevant regions.
Markets available
The current FP Markets mobile-app page lists more than 70 forex pairs, including major, minor and exotic pairs. It also advertises CFDs on shares, indices and commodities, with references to markets such as the NASDAQ, NYSE and FTSE.
The Apple and Google Play descriptions additionally mention cryptocurrency CFDs including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Ripple and Litecoin. These are CFDs rather than direct ownership of the underlying cryptocurrencies. A CFD position can lose money quickly, particularly when leverage is involved.

Do not assume that every instrument shown in promotional material will appear in every account. FP Markets’ release notes identify some platforms and payment gateways as region-specific, and product availability can change according to local regulation.

App availability and recent updates
The application is available for iOS and Android. FP Markets describes compatibility with iPhones and iPads, and with Android smartphones and tablets. There is a qualification for Apple users: the current UK App Store listing displays “Only for iPhone,” so iPad compatibility should be confirmed in the store for the relevant country before relying on it.
As of August 8, 2026, the iOS listing shows version 2.3.1, released around August 4. Its release note says “General performance improvements and bug fixes.” Recent iOS releases also mention refined payment methods, additional language support, a revised registration flow, improved live chat and interface refinements.
The Google Play listing reports an update on July 23, 2026, describing general performance improvements and bug fixes. Google Play does not display a current version number in the listing.

Funding and withdrawals
Funding is no longer accurately described as a website-only process. FP Markets advertises deposits and withdrawals in the proprietary app, and the store descriptions list several payment methods.
FP Markets’ documented Client Portal routes are:
- Deposit: Client Portal > Funding > Deposit
- Withdraw: Client Portal > Funding > Withdraw
- Internal transfer: Client Portal > Funding > Internal Transfer
For a withdrawal, FP Markets says to select the payment method and account, enter the amount and choose Submit. Its general stated processing time is within one business day, although the bank or payment provider may take longer.

Important withdrawal restrictions
- Withdrawals generally have to be returned to the same funding source used for the deposit.
- If several funding methods were used, FP Markets says withdrawals normally proceed in order, beginning with card deposits.
- Third-party deposits are not accepted.
- A PayPal account must be in the client’s own name and use the same email address as the FP Markets account.
These rules can explain why a withdrawal does not behave like a simple bank-transfer request. A rejected request is not, by itself, evidence of an app defect. FP Markets’ release history shows that the withdrawal interface has changed, including a withdrawal-cancellation option and an enhanced vIBAN withdrawal experience.
What to check when trading fails
FP Markets’ FAQ identifies several failure messages and possible causes. The FAQ is written broadly for its trading platforms rather than exclusively for the proprietary app, so these checks are useful troubleshooting guidance rather than a guaranteed app-specific diagnosis.

Before placing an order from a phone, check the instrument, direction, volume, stop-loss, take-profit and estimated margin. A small screen makes it easier to submit the wrong size or confuse a pending order with an immediate market order.
Security and privacy disclosures
Apple’s listing says the developer indicates that contact information, identifiers, usage data, diagnostics and other data may be used to track users across apps and websites. It also says some data may be linked to the user. Apple notes that these disclosures come from the developer and were not verified by Apple.
Google Play displays the developer’s declarations that no data is shared with third parties, no data is collected and data is encrypted in transit. These are store disclosures, not an independent security audit. Users should still use a unique password, protect their email account and enable two-factor authentication where available.

FP Markets says two-factor authentication is available under the Profile section of the Client Area. Its documented password guidance points users to the account settings or the Forgot Password link on the login screen; FP Markets does not publish a more detailed current in-app path.
What the launch means for prospective users
The app is a genuine proprietary FP Markets product, not merely a rebranded link to MetaTrader. It now covers trading, charting and account funding, correcting older descriptions that the broker had no native app or that deposits and withdrawals required the website.
It should not, however, be confused with a general investing app. FP Markets offers leveraged CFDs, and CFDs are high-risk products. The app makes it easier to access markets, but it does not make a trade safer or remove the possibility of substantial losses through leverage, spreads, gaps or rapid price movements.
Check the legal entity serving your country, read the applicable product disclosure documents and confirm the available instruments and payment methods inside your own account before depositing money.

What is the app called in the stores?
The store listing is called “FP Markets Forex & CFD Trading.” FP Markets calls it the “FP Markets Trading App” on its current website. The developer is listed as First Prudential Markets Pty Ltd.
Can I deposit and withdraw through the FP Markets app?

Check the username and password, then confirm that you selected the correct FP Markets live or demo server. If the problem persists, use the broker’s support channels rather than repeatedly entering credentials.
Are trades made through the app safe?
The app is a trading interface, not a safety feature. FP Markets offers leveraged CFDs, which can result in rapid losses. Review position size, margin, stop-loss settings and the applicable risk disclosures before trading.
The Bottom Line
FP Markets’ mobile app launched in January 2021 and remains an active proprietary trading product. Its current offering goes beyond basic chart viewing: users can trade CFDs, manage positions, fund accounts and request withdrawals, subject to regional and account restrictions. The practical advantage is convenience; the central risk remains the same as on any other platform—leveraged CFD trading can produce substantial losses.
