Hon Hai Precision Industry, better known as Foxconn, reported third-quarter 2026 revenue of NT$3.03 trillion, about US$95.39 billion. Revenue rose 47% from a year earlier and exceeded the NT$2.83 trillion LSEG SmartEstimate cited by Reuters. Reuters attributed the result to strong AI-related demand.
How much did Foxconn revenue grow in Q3 2026?
The quarter covered July through September 2026. Foxconn’s NT$3.03 trillion in revenue was 47% higher year over year, Reuters reported. It was also above the NT$2.83 trillion LSEG SmartEstimate benchmark Reuters cited. The comparison establishes that revenue beat that estimate; it does not, by itself, explain the full analyst-survey methodology behind the benchmark.
Foxconn’s press center lists an announcement for unaudited September revenue dated October 5, 2026, but the linked release was inaccessible in the available material. Monthly and segment-level figures from that release are therefore not included here. Foxconn press center
Why did sales beat estimates?
Reuters attributed the stronger result to AI-related demand. Before the quarter ended, Foxconn said AI demand was continuing while information and communications technology (ICT) products entered their second-half peak season. In a September 5 statement reproduced by Reuters, the company said: “In the third quarter, as AI demand continues to grow, and ICT products also enter the peak season of the second half of the year, operations are expected to gradually gain momentum.”

Foxconn also said its visibility for the quarter had improved compared with the previous month and that it expected performance to outperform market expectations. That was a September outlook, not the final result: the quarter ended September 30. The company also flagged volatile global political and economic conditions.
What does Nvidia’s role tell us—and what does it not?
Reuters described Foxconn as Nvidia’s biggest server maker, which helps explain the relevance of AI infrastructure demand to the company’s results. But the reported figures do not separate Nvidia-related sales from Foxconn’s total revenue, nor do they quantify AI-server revenue, orders, or Nvidia’s contribution to the year-over-year increase. It would be inaccurate to treat the full 47% increase as Nvidia sales.

Foxconn’s business extends beyond AI servers. Its press center describes operations across smart consumer electronics, cloud and networking, computing, and components and other. The reported quarterly revenue is a company-wide figure, not a breakdown by customer or business area.

The clearest takeaway is that Foxconn’s reported quarterly revenue topped the cited benchmark amid strong AI-related demand, while its total revenue also benefited from seasonal ICT strength, according to the company’s pre-quarter outlook. The available figures establish the size and growth of sales, but not how much came from any one customer, product category, or market.
