The company announced the platform on July 29, 2025, and expanded its pitch in March 2026 with a Large Infrastructure Model (LIM) for cross-cloud operations. It is a tool for infrastructure and IT teams—not a consumer cloud service or a physical device.
What FluidCloud means by “cloud cloning”
FluidCloud’s original launch framing was about making infrastructure portable. The company says its platform reverse engineers an existing environment into a standard infrastructure definition, which can then be used for cloning, migration, or remapping across different cloud environments. In practical terms, “cloning” refers to translating infrastructure resources and their relationships so they can be recreated elsewhere; it does not by itself establish that every workload or service transfers unchanged.

How the platform is described to work
Discover and map a source environment
The AWS Marketplace listing presents FluidCloud as SaaS deployed on AWS. It says customers connect source environments with read-only API credentials, without installing agents on source infrastructure. FluidCloud then scans resources and dependencies and represents them in an infrastructure graph. The listing names Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, VMware, and Nutanix as source environments for migration to AWS. That is the listing’s stated scope, not evidence that every service or configuration in those environments is supported or portable without changes.

Generate infrastructure definitions
For the AWS migration workflow, the listing says FluidCloud generates deployment-ready Terraform and AWS state files. Teams should treat these as inputs to an engineering migration process, not as a guarantee that generated infrastructure will match production behavior on the first deployment. Validate resource fidelity, dependencies, identity and access settings, network behavior, and application-level requirements in a test environment before cutover. See the AWS Marketplace listing for the vendor’s current product description.
Broader operations in the later LIM announcement
In March 2026, FluidCloud announced its Large Infrastructure Model (LIM), which it described as an infrastructure reasoning engine for cross-cloud operations and said was generally available at that time. The announcement lists replication of compute, networking, IAM, and policy; point-in-time state and rollback; policy drift monitoring; and cross-cloud cost comparison. FluidCloud also describes six operations on a shared infrastructure graph: migrate, clone, recover, optimize, govern, and provision. These are vendor-described capabilities; the announcement does not independently establish results across all providers or workloads. FluidCloud’s LIM announcement gives the company’s account of the expanded product.

What the claims and figures do—and do not—show
- “99%+” IaC accuracy: FluidCloud’s March 2026 announcement makes this claim. It is not an independently validated benchmark in the available information, so buyers should ask how accuracy is defined, which resources were measured, and how exceptions are handled.
- 50% lower overall spend: Manoj Sinha, identified by FluidCloud as an Engineering Leader at Infyni, said the company moved from a large hyperscaler to Oracle Cloud and reduced overall spend by 50%. This is a customer quotation published by the vendor, not an independently audited savings result.
- Migration speed and portability: The product is intended to speed infrastructure translation and movement, but no independent performance study or proof of complete cross-cloud portability is established here. Actual effort depends on service coverage, configuration differences, application dependencies, testing, and cutover planning.
FluidCloud’s first launch announcement is available at its July 2025 funding and launch post; the Infyni quotation appears in the March 2026 LIM announcement.

The listing raises practical billing questions, including what qualifies as a managed resource and what happens when an estate exceeds its contracted tier. The stated prices alone do not answer those questions. Ask FluidCloud or the Marketplace seller to define the billable resource, explain how overages are counted and charged, and confirm whether the contract imposes a cap or requires a tier change. What to verify before using it for a migration
- Exact coverage: Map the source and destination providers, specific services, and resource types in your estate against supported coverage. Ask what is omitted or translated into a different service.
- Fidelity and testing: Request examples of generated Terraform and state for resources like yours. Establish how unsupported attributes, custom configurations, secrets, and dependencies are flagged, then test the result outside production.
- Access and security: Review the read-only permissions required for discovery, how credentials and scanned configuration data are handled, and what security documentation applies to your intended deployment. The Marketplace description’s read-only, agentless approach does not by itself establish a complete security posture or certification.
- Rollback and recovery: Confirm which state is captured, how point-in-time recovery and rollback work, and what must remain available in the source environment during a cutover.
- Total cost: Clarify the managed-resource definition, tier boundary, overage treatment, contract length, and any implementation or support charges before comparing the license price with migration alternatives.
- Evidence and support: Ask for references or a scoped proof of concept using representative workloads, and agree on who owns remediation if generated infrastructure needs adjustment. The Marketplace listing showed no customer reviews at the time it was accessed.
