The Magic: The Gathering—FINAL FANTASY Starter Kit is a two-player beginner set, but its current Amazon stock, seller and price are unconfirmed. Wizards of the Coast previously named Amazon as an online preorder retailer; that historical mention is not evidence of a live restock. The last targeted search on October 4, 2026, did not surface a matching Amazon product page.
What comes in the Final Fantasy MTG Starter Kit?
This is a physical, introductory Magic product for two players—not a booster box or a Commander deck. Wizards describes it as two ready-to-play FINAL FANTASY decks with a Play Guide. Square Enix’s North American store listing specifies the contents:
As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.
- Two prebuilt 60-card decks
- Two deck boxes
- A Magic play guide booklet
- Four double-sided tokens
- Two double-sided reference cards
- Two Arena code cards that unlock both decks for two people to play online
Square Enix says an account is required to use the Arena codes and lists their expiration date as September 1, 2030. See the Square Enix product listing for its contents and code details.

Is it back in stock at Amazon?
Current Amazon availability is not confirmed. Wizards’ May 20, 2025 collecting article said the set was available for preorder through local game stores and online retailers such as Amazon. That confirms historical retailer distribution, not present stock. A targeted search on October 4, 2026, did not surface a matching Amazon product detail page; that absence does not prove the kit is unavailable.

What did the kit cost at launch?
Wizards of the Coast listed an original Starter Kit MSRP of $19.99 in its May 20, 2025 article, which identified June 13, 2025 as the set’s global tabletop release date. The MSRP is historical: it is not a current Amazon price or a guarantee that the product is available at that amount. The article also provides the release and retailer context in Wizards’ collecting guide.
