Before depositing, confirm the exact company in your current client agreement, its regulator and permitted services in the regulator’s register, and whether the payment beneficiary matches the disclosed arrangement. If you were a client of the former FBK/RocketX service, the dated notice directs you to contact RocketX about your account.
What can be verified about FBK Markets?
FBK Markets’ website identifies FBK Markets SA (Pty) Ltd as a South African company and says it previously acted as a juristic representative of RocketX (Pty) Ltd, which it identifies as FSP 52142 and the CFD counterparty. Those are the website’s descriptions of the former arrangement, not proof that the arrangement remains in force.
A notice on the FBK Markets homepage, dated 12 May 2026, says the arrangement was terminated effective 11 May 2026. It says that from 12 May FBK Markets was no longer authorised to operate under the RocketX licence or handle client financial-services matters under that arrangement. The notice also says RocketX assumed accountability for clients previously serviced through FBK and directs former clients to RocketX about withdrawals, deposits, trading accounts, and identity verification. This review has not verified the outcome for any individual client.

The site’s older footer and FAQ wording still describes FBK as a RocketX representative. Because that wording conflicts in time with the dated notice, do not rely on it as evidence of current authorisation.

The newer FBK Global Markets description is secondary reporting, not independent confirmation that the newer operation is authorised or that it holds a principal’s licence. The available evidence does not establish that FBK Markets is a scam. It also does not establish that a current FBK-branded operation is authorised to provide the service you may be offered.
How to check whether FBK Markets is regulated
- Identify the contracting company. Read the current client agreement and record the exact legal name and company number. Do not assume that FBK Markets, FBK Markets SA, and FBK Global Markets are the same legal entity.
- Check the named principal and authorisation. Search the relevant regulator’s current register directly. Confirm the company, principal, service category, and current status. A past representative relationship or an older licence claim is not proof of current authority.
- Match the website and payment details. Confirm that the domain contacting you and the payment beneficiary match the agreement and the firm’s disclosed payment arrangement. A mismatch is a reason to pause and seek clarification.
- Confirm who is responsible for your account. Ask who acts as counterparty, handles client money, processes withdrawals, and receives complaints. For former FBK/RocketX clients, the dated FBK notice directs account queries to RocketX.
- Check current terms before funding. Review the effective deposit, withdrawal, fee, inactivity, and bonus terms. The available research did not establish the current terms after the transition, so do not rely on legacy FAQs for present conditions.
A company registration is not the same as authorisation to provide a regulated financial service. General investor guidance from the Bulgarian Financial Supervision Commission advises checking that a firm is permitted to provide the service before transferring funds; it also identifies a mismatch between the contracted intermediary and the receiving account as a warning sign. That is general guidance, not a finding about FBK.

Warning signs to take seriously
Pause if anyone claiming to represent FBK or an associated firm:
- promises guaranteed returns or says losses are impossible;
- pressures you to deposit more to obtain a bonus, VIP level, or higher profits;
- asks for an advance tax, insurance charge, clearance fee, or other payment to release funds;
- directs payment to a personal account, cryptocurrency wallet, or company not disclosed in your agreement;
- insists that you install remote-access software;
- refuses a written client agreement or will not clearly identify the entity responsible for your account;
- uses a domain or contact detail that does not match the firm’s independently verified details; or
- claims an old RocketX relationship proves current authorisation without providing current, verifiable documents.
Complaints or negative reviews can be reasons to investigate, but they do not by themselves prove fraud. An independent review updated 14 September 2026 reports user concerns, including withdrawal and service concerns; those reports are not established findings or a measured complaint rate.
Trading conditions do not prove legitimacy
Leverage, spreads, platform access, polished charts, or a displayed account balance do not establish that a firm is currently authorised or that a withdrawal will be honoured. FBK’s own risk warning says a trader could lose some or all of the initial investment. Leveraged forex and CFD trading can be unsuitable for some investors.

Before depositing, read the currently effective agreement and withdrawal terms. Confirm the processing rules, fees, identity checks, payment methods, and any stated grounds for delaying or rejecting a withdrawal. The research found a legal-documentation index but did not establish current fees or withdrawal conditions after the transition.
Is FBK Markets a good choice for a retail trader?
On the evidence reviewed, FBK Markets should not be treated as a verified, low-risk broker. The former RocketX representative arrangement ended in May 2026 according to FBK’s own notice, while the current authorisation and contractual entity for the reported newer FBK Global Markets operation remain unverified here. - the regulator, named principal if applicable, and permitted service;
- the entity that will receive your payment and hold or handle client money;
- who acts as counterparty and handles withdrawals and complaints; and
- the current fee, withdrawal, and risk terms.
Do not accept an older RocketX description, a logo, or a salesperson’s assurance as a substitute for checking the current agreement and regulator register.
What to do if you already deposited money
- Stop sending additional funds. Do not pay an advance tax, withdrawal fee, security deposit, or recovery charge without independently verifying the demand.
- Use the appropriate account contact. If you were serviced under the former FBK/RocketX arrangement, the dated FBK notice directs former clients to RocketX for account queries, including withdrawals, deposits, and identity verification. Keep the request and any response in writing.
- Contact your payment provider promptly. Ask your bank or card issuer what options may be available if a payment or withdrawal is disputed. If you used cryptocurrency, report the transaction to the exchange you used and to the relevant authorities; do not assume it can be reversed.
- Preserve evidence. Save agreements, emails, messages, phone numbers, payment details, wallet addresses, and screenshots of relevant terms and account activity.
- Report concerns through official channels. Contact the relevant financial regulator, police or cybercrime reporting service, and the platform where you were approached.
- Secure your accounts. Change passwords and enable two-factor authentication if you shared credentials or installed remote-access software. Tell your bank if you shared identity or payment information.
Be wary of recovery services that demand an upfront payment or guarantee reimbursement. Verify any such service independently before sharing information or paying.
