NBCUniversal’s Season 52 announcement, dated September 16, 2026, names 17 performers; the available compensation figures are estimates, not personal financial disclosures. A cast roster is knowable. Each performer’s net worth is not.
Who is in the current SNL cast?
“Current” here means the performers named in NBCUniversal’s Season 52 announcement on September 16, 2026—not a permanent cast list. The announcement names two new featured players and 15 returning performers. NBCUniversal’s announcement lists:
- Saidah Belo-Osagie
- Grace Reiter
- Ben Marshall
- Tommy Brennan
- Jeremy Culhane
- Kam Patterson
- Veronika Slowikowska
- Kenan Thompson
- Michael Che
- Colin Jost
- Mikey Day
- Andrew Dismukes
- Marcello Hernández
- James Austin Johnson
- Sarah Sherman
- Ashley Padilla
- Jane Wickline
This is a dated roster, not a guarantee that every performer remains with the show throughout Season 52. The Daily Beast reported on September 16 that Chloe Fineman, Bowen Yang, and Martin Herlihy were not returning; the official announcement is the source for the incoming Season 52 roster. The Daily Beast’s report also said Yang left during Season 51 and Fineman had announced her departure in July.
What is the net worth of the current SNL cast?
No complete, comparable set of attributable personal net-worth figures for these 17 performers is established by the available sources. That means a list assigning a precise dollar amount to every cast member—or ranking all 17 from richest to poorest—would suggest a level of certainty the evidence does not support.
Net worth is the value of a person’s assets minus liabilities. A salary estimate does not reveal savings, investments, property, debt, taxes, business interests, or private contract terms. Those details are generally not fully public, so an outside estimate cannot be treated as a verified balance sheet.
What the published SNL salary estimates say
Celebrity Net Worth’s June 10, 2026 article estimates that first-year cast members earn $3,000 per episode and that a select top tier earns $25,000 per episode. It also estimates Kenan Thompson earns $2 million to $3 million per year, including an NBC overall deal, and describes that figure as “almost certain.” These are the publisher’s compensation estimates—not confirmed salary records, net-worth disclosures, or figures established by NBC. Celebrity Net Worth’s SNL compensation article does not establish individual net worth for the complete Season 52 roster.
| Figure | What it describes | Evidence and limit |
|---|---|---|
| $3,000 per episode | Estimated pay for a first-year cast member | Celebrity Net Worth estimate published June 10, 2026; not a verified salary record. |
| $25,000 per episode | Estimated pay for a select top tier | Celebrity Net Worth estimate published June 10, 2026; not a verified salary record. |
| $2 million–$3 million per year | Estimated earnings for Kenan Thompson, including an NBC overall deal | Celebrity Net Worth estimate published June 10, 2026, described by the publisher as “almost certain”; not a net-worth disclosure. |
These estimates answer a different question from “How much are current SNL cast members worth?” Even an accurate annual-pay figure would not, by itself, establish how much someone owns or owes.
Why a precise cast-wide ranking would mislead
- Different measures: salary, total career earnings, and net worth are not interchangeable.
- Unequal public information: some performers have longer careers or more visible projects, but visibility does not establish the value of private assets or debts.
- Unclear estimation methods: a third-party net-worth figure may not disclose what assets, liabilities, or income streams it includes.
- Changing finances: earnings, investments, taxes, and obligations can change, while many online estimates lack a clear update date.
For those reasons, celebrity net-worth numbers should be read as estimates unless they come from a person’s own attributable financial disclosure or another suitably documented source. The available evidence does not justify assigning such figures to every performer on this roster.
