Which business lines drove growth?
Everus operates in specialty construction services. Its electrical and mechanical (E&M) work includes electrical and communication wiring and infrastructure, fire-suppression systems, and mechanical piping and services. Its transmission and distribution (T&D) business builds and maintains overhead and underground electrical, gas, and communication infrastructure, as described in the company’s investor-relations overview.

Everus attributed gross-profit growth primarily to higher revenue and improved margins associated with increased workloads, solid project execution, and project timing. Gross profit rose 52.6% to $183.0 million from $119.9 million, while gross margin was 14.9%, compared with 13.0% in Q2 2025. Those are results for this quarter, not evidence by themselves of a lasting margin trend.
For the first six months of 2026, revenue was $2.27 billion, up 29.8% from $1.75 billion in the first half of 2025. Everus also reported 27.9% organic revenue growth for that period, excluding the contribution from its SE&M acquisition. Organic revenue is a company-defined non-GAAP measure; consult the release’s reconciliation when comparing it with reported revenue.

What guidance did management give?
Everus raised its full-year 2026 forecast to revenue of $4.5 billion to $4.7 billion and EBITDA of $410 million to $425 million. These are management’s outlook ranges, not realized full-year results. The company also said gross capital expenditures were still expected to be $90 million to $100 million, or 1.9% to 2.2% of forecast revenue, and reported quarter-end net leverage of 0.3x.
In the results release, management said: “With our strong performance in the first half of the year and continued robust demand across our business, we are raising guidance on our full-year outlook.” The outlook reflects management’s expectations and is subject to business and market conditions.

What was known about the Epsilon Industries deal at the time?
On July 31, 2026, Everus entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Epsilon Industries. In the August 4 results release, Everus said the planned acquisition would expand off-site modular construction and prefabrication capabilities, extend geographic reach, and strengthen positions in key end markets.
