Sellers in Pakistan can use Etsy Payments through a Payoneer Payment Account. Etsy requires sellers in supported Payoneer markets to enroll this way; it does not mean buyers pay sellers directly through Payoneer. Buyers pay through Etsy, and sale proceeds first enter the seller’s Etsy payment account.
How do Pakistani Etsy sellers get paid?
After a customer pays through Etsy, the proceeds enter the Etsy payment account, where applicable fees are applied. Etsy sends available funds to Payoneer in USD each Monday. Etsy does not let sellers choose a different deposit day for this transfer.
Once the funds reach Payoneer, the seller can request a withdrawal to a local bank account. Etsy says the bank transfer typically takes 2–5 business days after the withdrawal request. That is an estimate for the Payoneer-to-bank leg, not a guarantee of when a sale will be available in a bank account. Payoneer may impose withdrawal minimums, which vary by banking country and currency. Etsy’s Payoneer instructions explain the process.
How do I connect Payoneer to Etsy?
- In Etsy, go to Shop Manager → Finances → Payment settings, then select Enroll now.
- Follow Etsy’s enrollment steps and sign in to an existing Payoneer Payment Account, or create one when prompted.
- Complete any identity or account checks Payoneer requests. New applicants may be asked for personal details, a government-issued ID, a selfie, and proof of address.
- Respond to verification requests within 30 days to avoid interruptions to the shop.
Enrollment is not automatic approval: Etsy and Payoneer may require account verification. Keep the shop country, Payoneer account country, and linked bank country consistent. Etsy says a mismatch between the Etsy Payments country and the country of the bank account on Payoneer can trigger a “details don’t match” error. For a Pakistan-specific account mismatch, check with Etsy or Payoneer support rather than assuming a bank in another country will work.

What fees and currency costs should sellers check?
There is no single fee figure that applies to every Pakistani seller in the current Etsy guidance. Etsy says payment-related fees vary by shop location, and additional Payoneer fees may apply. Payoneer withdrawal charges, currency conversion costs, and minimums can depend on the seller’s account, banking country, and currency. Check the fee information shown in Etsy and the current terms in your Payoneer account before pricing items or requesting a withdrawal. Etsy’s fee information and its Payoneer guidance are the relevant starting points.
Etsy says listing items in the same currency as the Etsy Payment account can avoid an Etsy currency-conversion fee. Shoppers may still see converted prices in their preferred currency. This does not establish that Payoneer conversion is free; check Payoneer’s rate and charges for your own account.

Why did Etsy add Pakistan, and what benefits are established?
Etsy’s Seller Handbook said on March 26, 2025, that Etsy Payments had expanded to Pakistan and several other markets. Sellers in those countries outside US territories use Payoneer. Etsy’s current Help Center also lists Pakistan among the supported Payoneer markets and says enrollment in Etsy Payments with a Payoneer Payment Account is required. Etsy’s expansion announcement provides the dated context.
Qualifying orders processed through Etsy Payments may be eligible for Etsy Purchase Protection, subject to the program’s criteria and terms. Etsy also describes dedicated payments support. Neither benefit should be treated as guaranteed for every order or every situation.

Etsy reported a 16% sales lift among a sample of more than 28,000 sellers who switched from PayPal to Etsy Payments between July 2023 and December 2024. Etsy says an increase is not guaranteed. This is a platform-reported result for that sample, not a forecast for Pakistani sellers.

Etsy’s reviewed guidance says Payoneer is required for sellers in supported Payoneer countries, including Pakistan; it does not identify a second payout provider for Pakistani shops using Etsy Payments. Sellers can assess how to manage proceeds after they arrive in Payoneer by checking withdrawal and conversion charges, any minimum, expected transfer time, bank country and currency, and the Etsy listing-currency setting. The exact costs and eligibility depend on the seller’s accounts.
