The EPFO Social Security Assistant (SSA) exam was held in 2023, but its final result was published in 2024. Use the modified result dated January 12, 2024: the initial result announced on January 3 was withdrawn. EPFO later listed the release of scorecards and cut-off marks on February 23, 2024, although current scorecard access is not confirmed.
Which EPFO SSA result should you use?
Use the modified final result released by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on January 12, 2024. NTA said the result declared on January 3 “stands withdrawn and cancelled.” The January 3 notice had recommended 2,674 candidates, but that figure refers to the withdrawn result; it should not be treated as the verified recommendation count in the modified result. The “2023” in EPFO SSA result searches refers to the recruitment examination year, not the final-result publication year.

For the historical Stage-I result lookup, NTA’s October 18, 2023 notice instructed candidates to use their application number and date of birth. Those credentials were specified for that result check; this does not establish that they will still work for an old scorecard login.

For scorecards and cut-off marks, open EPFO’s February 23, 2024 notice and follow its link to the NTA recruitment portal if access is still offered. The official listing confirms that scorecards and cut-offs were released, but current portal availability and present-day button labels are not established.
Do not rely on an old saved result file if it is the January 3 version. If you cannot locate a live scorecard option, use the EPFO listing and NTA recruitment portal for official updates rather than an unofficial download link.

What to know about eligibility and verification
NTA described the result and candidature as provisional and subject to document verification and other eligibility criteria at the organisation. A result entry alone therefore does not replace the required verification by EPFO.
