The report called it a new Nautilus record. It was a one-off charity-auction piece, not a typical 5711 or a guide to ordinary Nautilus prices.
What was the engraved Nautilus 5711/1500A?
Children Action’s official lot description identifies it as a unique steel Patek Philippe Nautilus, reference 5711/1500A, donated by Patek Philippe for the foundation’s auction.
The case, bezel and bracelet were hand-engraved with Maori-inspired motifs. The sapphire caseback bore a metallized “Children Action 2024” inscription, and the lot included a matching pair of hand-engraved steel cufflinks. Time+Tide described the dial as charcoal grey.
How much did it sell for?
Time+Tide reported that the watch sold for CHF 6.7 million at the Children Action 30th-anniversary auction in Geneva. The charity’s lot page confirms the donated watch and its features but does not publish a realized price, so the amount is attributable to Time+Tide rather than independently confirmed by the charity.

The report does not establish whether CHF 6.7 million includes a buyer’s premium. It also said all proceeds went to charity; the sources do not state how much of this particular sale was allocated to the foundation.
What record did the sale set?
Time+Tide characterized the November 2024 result as a new world record for a Nautilus. For comparison, the same report called the 2021 Patek Philippe x Tiffany & Co. Nautilus 5711/1A-018 sale at US$6.5 million the previous most expensive Nautilus. These are the publication’s reported figures and comparison, not independently verified auction-house results.
