EMRS recruitment 2025 deadline and status
NESTS’s official ESSE-2025 recruitment notice page lists 28 October 2025 at 23:55 as the final application deadline and marks the application period closed. A notice dated 24 October 2025 extended the deadline. The headline’s “today” therefore does not describe the current status.
The recruitment process has progressed beyond applications. In notices listed through 7 October 2026, NESTS published Tier-II results for multiple post groups; the latest shown on that date were for TGT Computer Science and TGT English. Check the official notice page for the result or other update relevant to your post.
What the 7,267 vacancies figure means
The Ministry of Tribal Affairs described the ESSE-2025 notification as covering 7,267 teaching and non-teaching posts in a parliamentary response dated 11 February 2026. The figure is not a count of teaching jobs alone. The recruitment bulletin describes vacancies as tentative, so 7,267 should not be treated as an immutable final vacancy total.

The ministry also gave sanctioned staffing figures of 31 teaching and 21 non-teaching posts per EMRS for schools with classes through grade 12 and a full strength of 480 students. Those per-school staffing figures are separate from the 7,267 posts notified through ESSE-2025.

Where candidates should check now
For current recruitment notices and post-specific updates, use the NESTS recruitment notice page. Candidates can use the official ESSE-2025 examination portal to check their candidate account. The portal says new candidate registration is over; it is not an open route for new applications.

The portal describes the original application sequence as online registration, completion of the application form, payment of the examination fee, and downloading the confirmation page. That process is no longer available to new candidates for this cycle.

The ESSE-2025 information bulletin sets 23 October 2025 as the eligibility cut-off date, including if the application deadline is extended. The bulletin also cautions that vacancies are tentative. For any post-wise vacancy count or eligibility question, consult the official ESSE-2025 information bulletin; the NESTS notice page alone does not provide a complete post-wise vacancy breakdown in its accessible text.
