Emirates has suspended its Emirates-marketed codeshare flights to Tel Aviv operated by flydubai; it has not cancelled Emirates-operated Tel Aviv flights, because Emirates says it does not operate its own flights to or from Israel. The suspension took effect immediately on 30 September 2026 and remains in effect until further notice, with no restart date given in the airline’s notice.
What Emirates actually suspended
Emirates’ notice, last updated 30 September 2026 at 19:19 Dubai time, says its “codeshare operations with flydubai to/from Tel Aviv are suspended with immediate effect, until further notice.” A codeshare itinerary is marketed under one airline’s code but operated by another. In this case, flydubai operated the affected service; it was not an Emirates-operated aircraft flying to Tel Aviv. The notice gives no date for a resumption. “Until further notice” means travelers should not assume the service has restarted unless the airline confirms it for their itinerary.
What affected passengers should do
If your trip has not started
Emirates says passengers whose final destination is Tel Aviv will not be accepted for travel at the point of origin on the affected service. Contact the travel agent that issued your ticket or Emirates’ contact centre for instructions on your specific booking, and check Emirates’ travel updates. Make sure your phone number and email address in Manage Your Booking are current so the airline can reach you.

If you are already en route
Emirates says customers already en route to Tel Aviv will be accommodated and provided support to complete their journeys. Contact the airline or your travel agent promptly if you need help connecting or confirming next steps.
Check the ticket before assuming a refund or reroute
The notice does not promise one refund, rerouting, or compensation outcome for every passenger. The applicable result can depend on the ticket, itinerary, and rules governing the journey. Emirates’ Israel rules and notices page links to Israel’s Aviation Services Law and Consumer Protection Law notices, but does not establish a single remedy for every booking. Ask Emirates or your agent what applies to your ticket and, if needed, consult the relevant authority for the route and departure country.

Can you still fly from the UAE to Tel Aviv?
There were other services reported as operating in the days after the suspension, but schedules and seat availability are time-sensitive. The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority said on 5 October 2026 that transfer operations following the temporary flydubai suspension had been completed. It reported 37 flights from Dubai International Airport to Ben Gurion Airport since 2 October, carrying 7,479 passengers, and said Etihad continued scheduled flights to Tel Aviv. Those figures describe the GCAA’s reported transfer operations; they do not confirm that Emirates’ codeshare resumed. Emirates News Agency (WAM), 5 October 2026.
A separate 5 October report described Etihad flights from Abu Dhabi and limited Israeli-carrier flights from Dubai as alternatives at that time. Confirm the operating airline, departure airport, date, frequency, and available seats directly with the carrier before booking; do not treat a report from 5 October as a current schedule.
