ECGC Limited’s recruitment advertisement set the registration, application-editing and online fee-payment period as September 14 through October 13, 2024. Candidates could not use that deadline to apply after October 13.

Is ECGC PO 2024 registration still open?
No. The October 13, 2024 deadline is over. ECGC’s official recruitment archive lists 2024-25 materials from later stages, including written-result and interview information. The current careers page displays FY 2025-26 recruitment material, so applicants should use the applicable current notice rather than rely on dates or eligibility from 2024.

What did the 2024 recruitment notice specify?
Vacancies
ECGC advertised 40 vacancies: three backlog vacancies and 37 vacancies expected by March 31, 2025. The notice said the expected number could change according to ECGC’s requirements, so 40 was not a guaranteed final count.
Headline eligibility
The stated age range was 21 to 30 years as of September 1, 2024, with relaxations for specified categories. The basic education requirement was a degree in any discipline from a government-recognized university, or an equivalent qualification; results had to be declared by September 1, 2024. This is only a summary: the original notice sets out additional conditions concerning categories, documentation, nationality, disability and other eligibility details.
Selection process
The process comprised an online examination followed by an interview for candidates shortlisted based on exam performance. ECGC named 23 examination centres. Shortlisted candidates were to be called for interviews in Mumbai, Kolkata, Delhi or Bengaluru.
