How much is EA Play? As of October 8, 2026, EA lists standard membership at $5.99 per month or $39.99 per year in the US, and £5.99 per month or £35.99 per year in the UK. EA Play Pro costs more. These are current prices on EA’s regional pages—not a newly announced 2026 increase. The price rise widely reported in 2024 took effect May 10, 2024.
Current EA Play prices in the US and UK
EA’s official US and UK membership pages list the following prices. Your actual price may differ if you subscribe through another platform or live in a different region.
| Region and plan | Monthly | Annual |
|---|---|---|
| US EA Play | $5.99 | $39.99 |
| US EA Play Pro | $16.99 | $119.99 |
| UK EA Play | £5.99 | £35.99 |
| UK EA Play Pro | £16.99 | £109.99 |

Does annual billing save money?
At these listed prices, a year costs less than twelve monthly payments. For example, twelve US standard monthly payments would total $71.88, compared with $39.99 for the listed annual plan. In the UK, twelve monthly payments would total £71.88, compared with £35.99 annually. Those comparisons use the listed prices and assume a full year of uninterrupted monthly billing; they do not account for a platform’s renewal terms or a subscriber’s changing interest in the catalog.

What happened in the 2024 price increase?
GameSpot reported on April 10, 2024, citing GamesIndustry.biz reporting and subscriber emails, that EA Play prices were set to change on May 10, 2024. For standard membership, the report said US pricing rose from $4.99 to $5.99 monthly and from $29.99 to $39.99 annually. In the UK, it reported a monthly change from £3.99 to £5.99 and an annual change from £19.99 to £35.99. The article also reported increases for EA Play Pro.
GameSpot’s April 10, 2024 report is a dated account of that change, not an announcement of a new 2026 increase. EA’s current regional pages are the source for the present US and UK prices above; they do not establish a complete price history for every country or storefront.

Check the price and renewal amount for your account
EA says a membership is tied to the platform where the customer joined. Its FAQ lists Xbox, PlayStation, and PC options through the Epic Games Store, EA app, and Steam; it also says Mac access is through the EA app. Because regional prices and storefront terms can differ, the amount on EA’s website may not be the amount shown by your platform at checkout.
- Open the subscription or membership settings for the account and storefront where you joined.
- Review the plan, region, next billing date, and renewal amount shown there, along with any billing notice.
- Use that platform’s cancellation or plan-management controls if you do not want the membership to renew.
EA’s US terms specify that memberships purchased through Sony renew at the then-current subscription price until cancelled. That clause is specific to Sony purchases; it should not be assumed to describe renewals through other storefronts. See EA’s terms and service updates and the applicable platform’s account page.
