The delivery marked an Indian aerospace-manufacturing milestone, but the available records do not establish the program’s current production status or its financial impact.
What Dynamatic made for the CH-47F
Dynamatic’s company case study says it was contracted to manufacture two major structures for Boeing’s CH-47F Chinook: the aft pylon assembly and the cargo ramp assembly. The aft pylon is a structural section at the rear of the helicopter; the cargo ramp is the loading structure used to move cargo into and out of the aircraft. Dynamatic also says it builds multiple Chinook configurations, though its case study does not specify the scope or quantities for each one. Dynamatic’s CH-47F case study
When the first set was handed over
Business Standard reported that Dynamatic handed over the first set of aft pylon and cargo ramp assemblies at Aero India on February 18, 2015. A separate report published the same day also described the first-set handover. Business Standard’s report and its second report
The handover was presented at the time as part of the Boeing–Dynamatic “Make in India” collaboration. The Machinist quoted Boeing India president Pratyush Kumar calling the delivery a milestone in scaling capability with supply-chain partners in India. That quotation was reproduced by the trade publication. The Machinist’s coverage

Dynamatic’s case study also reproduces a remark attributed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Aero India 2015 inaugural speech: “I am pleased to learn that the first set of parts is ready for shipment today.” The quotation appears in company materials; the company also attributes to Modi a reference to a plant inaugurated by Dynamatic and Boeing in September 2014. A later production milestone
Dynamatic’s archive records that it handed Boeing its 75th major CH-47 Chinook aerostructure assembly on July 31, 2018. The archive page item is dated July 3, 2018, while the text gives July 31 as the handover date. This is a company-reported historical milestone; it does not show current production volumes or confirm that production continues today. Dynamatic’s archive entry

What the Boeing relationship establishes
Boeing’s supplier profile lists Dynamatic among its aerostructure suppliers for the P-8 Poseidon, CH-47 Chinook, and F-15EX Eagle II. Boeing describes the Chinook aft pylon and cargo ramp work as a major program win and a step in building supplier capabilities. The profile supports the existence of a broader supplier relationship, but it does not disclose current contract terms, output, or production status. Boeing’s Dynamatic supplier profile
