The most visible brand relationships associated with Dwayne Johnson are Under Armour’s Project Rock, Project Rock’s official footwear partnership with the UFC, and business ventures including Teremana, ZOA Energy and Papatui. There is no dependable, comparable public data here to rank them by what they paid him: some are product and promotional partnerships, while others are brands he helped build.

What counts as one of Johnson’s biggest brand deals?

“Biggest” is best understood as prominence and documented reach, not compensation. The available announcements describe the relationships and products, but do not disclose comparable deal values. A co-founded company or business partnership is also different from a conventional paid endorsement, so the relationships below should not be treated as interchangeable.

Under Armour and Project Rock: a long-term product partnership

Under Armour announced a long-term global partnership with Johnson on January 25, 2016. The company said they would develop footwear, apparel and accessories together, create original content and promote Connected Fitness initiatives. Project Rock became the relationship’s most visible product line. Under Armour’s announcement describes the planned collaboration; it does not publish compensation.

Under Armour’s U.S. Project Rock catalog currently lists items including training shoes, apparel and backpacks. The brand says its collection was personally approved by Johnson; that is Under Armour’s own product description, not independent product testing.

Is Project Rock still with Under Armour?

The catalog confirms Project Rock products were listed in the U.S. at the time of checking, but a product listing cannot establish that the broader Johnson–Under Armour contract remains active. The available sources do not conclusively settle the current contractual status, so it would be premature to call the partnership definitively active or definitively ended.

Project Rock’s UFC footwear partnership

On January 21, 2022, the UFC announced a multi-year agreement naming Project Rock its official footwear partner. UFC athletes and corner teams were to wear Project Rock shoes as part of their fight kits during official fight-week activities. The initial footwear included Project Rock BSR training shoes and slides, with a co-branded BSR 2 colorway planned. The arrangement gave the line a prominent association with UFC events and media, distinct from the broader Under Armour partnership.

In its announcement, the UFC said its reach included more than 625 million fans, over 187 million social-media followers and TV households in 175 countries. Those are figures published by the UFC in 2022, not independently audited audience measures or estimates of Johnson’s earnings from the agreement.

Teremana, ZOA Energy and Papatui: business ventures, not simply endorsements

Johnson is also associated with consumer businesses in spirits, beverages and personal care. The available company descriptions characterize these as ventures or co-founded brands, rather than establishing conventional endorsement contracts.

Brand Category Johnson’s described role What is established
Teremana Spirits Business associated with Johnson; partnered with Mast-Jägermeister TKO’s January 2024 announcement lists Teremana in Johnson’s business portfolio and describes the Mast-Jägermeister partnership. It does not establish current ownership details, sales figures or endorsement compensation.
ZOA Energy Energy drinks Co-founded TKO’s 2024 announcement identifies ZOA as a co-founded business. A 2023 Forbes profile discusses Johnson’s entrepreneurship and a ZOA product; neither source establishes a paid endorsement fee or comparative deal value.
Papatui Men’s personal care Co-founded TKO’s 2024 announcement names Papatui as a brand co-founded by Johnson. The cited source does not provide deal terms, sales data or a financial ranking.

TKO’s January 23, 2024 announcement is the source for its portfolio descriptions of Teremana, ZOA Energy and Papatui. The relationships indicate business-building roles, but the announcement does not make them comparable to a paid advertising deal.

What is Johnson’s biggest brand deal by value?

No reliable, comparable compensation figures are established for these relationships, so the available evidence does not support naming a highest-paying deal or assigning a dollar value. The UFC’s reach figures describe the promotion’s claimed audience in its 2022 announcement; they are not deal-value figures. A financial ranking based on unsupported celebrity-wealth estimates would confuse visibility with verified earnings.
