There is no verified current figure for Dwayne Johnson’s personal net worth in the sources reviewed here. Published earnings estimates and reports about his businesses offer clues about how he earns money, but they do not establish his accumulated wealth, ownership stakes, debts or liquid assets.
Why there is no reliable current net-worth figure
Personal net worth is generally the value of a person’s assets minus liabilities. A credible calculation for Johnson would need information such as his ownership shares in private businesses, the value of those interests, personal assets and debts. The sources cited here do not provide a public personal balance sheet or the information needed to calculate that total.
That is why a precise figure circulating online should not be treated as verified without a transparent method and supporting evidence. In particular, the following measures are not interchangeable:
- Annual earnings describe income attributed to a particular period.
- Company sales or revenue describe business activity, not the amount paid to an owner.
- Company valuation estimates a business’s worth; it does not show what one person owns or could take home.
- Personal net worth would require valuing Johnson’s assets and subtracting his liabilities.
What the reported numbers actually measure
| Figure | What it refers to | What it does not establish |
|---|---|---|
| $87.5 million | Forbes’ estimate of Johnson’s earnings in 2020, attributed by Fox Business | His current annual income or total personal net worth |
| About 600,000 cases | Teremana sales at the time of a Vanity Fair interview with Johnson, as relayed by Fox Business | His personal income, ownership share or wealth |
| More than one million cases annually | Teremana annual sales reported by Forbes in June 2023 | Profitability, Johnson’s ownership percentage or the value of his personal assets |
The $87.5 million figure is a dated estimate for one year, not a current salary or net-worth calculation. The Teremana figures refer to the brand’s sales at different dates; they do not show how much revenue became profit or how much, if any, accrued to Johnson personally. Fox Business; Forbes.

How Dwayne Johnson has built his business portfolio
TKO Group Holdings’ 2026 proxy statement documents Johnson’s career and business associations. It says he began professional wrestling with WWE in 1996 and wrestled through 2004, then went on to build an acting and producing career. It also identifies Seven Bucks Productions, which he co-founded in 2012, and associations with ZOA Energy, Teremana, Papatui, the XFL/UFL and Project Rock. TKO Group Holdings’ proxy statement.
Those documented connections show the breadth of his work across entertainment, consumer products and sports. The filing does not state Johnson’s ownership percentages or assign a dollar value to his interests, so it cannot be used to total his personal wealth.
Johnson has described his work as spanning multiple industries: “I consider myself an industrialist and an entrepreneur and a businessman as well. And I’m in the relationship business. I’m in the customer service business. I’m in the consumer product business. And I’m certainly in the movie business.” The statement, relayed by Fox Business, describes how he sees his work—not what he earns or owns.
What is known about the WWE agreement and “The Rock” name
The Associated Press reported in January 2024 that Johnson would not discuss the financial value of his WWE agreement associated with rights to the “The Rock” name and his TKO board role. The report therefore does not support assigning a dollar value to the agreement or treating it as a known component of his net worth.

Johnson said of the name, “I owe that name everything. Without that name there’d be no wrestling career. There’d be no Hollywood career.” The quote underscores its importance to his career, but it is not a valuation of the name or the agreement. Associated Press.

Before relying on a figure, check what it claims to measure and how it was calculated. A useful estimate should distinguish annual income from accumulated wealth and explain how it values private-company stakes. It should also clarify whether it uses gross sales, revenue, earnings or a company valuation, and whether ownership shares, taxes, fees and debts are accounted for.
The cited sources document parts of Johnson’s career, business portfolio and reported earnings or brand sales. They do not disclose the ownership and liability details needed to verify a current personal net-worth total. On this evidence, any precise current figure remains unverified.
