DSSSB Advertisement No. 02/2024 announced 5,118 tentative vacancies across Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT) and Drawing Teacher posts. Applications were accepted online from 8 February to 8 March 2024, closing at 11:59 p.m.; registration for this advertisement is no longer open.

When did DSSSB TGT registration 2024 start, and what was the last date?

The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) set the application window for Advertisement No. 02/2024 from 8 February 2024 through 8 March 2024 at 11:59 p.m. The notice required online applications through the DSSSB portal and said, “Only online applications will be accepted.” The application link was to be disabled after the deadline. How many vacancies did the 2024 advertisement announce?

The notice listed 5,118 tentative vacancies in total. That figure covered subject-specific TGT posts as well as Drawing Teacher posts; it is not a count of TGT-only positions and does not represent current openings. DSSSB described the vacancies as tentative and based on information provided by the indenting departments and bodies. The advertisement listed post codes 803/24 through 811/24, with posts distributed among departments and categories. DSSSB Advertisement No. 02/2024

Is DSSSB TGT 2024 registration still open?

No. The application period for Advertisement No. 02/2024 ended on 8 March 2024. Applicants seeking a new opportunity should check DSSSB’s official vacancy notices and use the Board’s online application registration system for any currently advertised recruitment. Do not treat the closed 2024 application window as actionable.

How do eligibility requirements vary by post?

There is no single eligibility rule that safely applies to every post in the advertisement. Requirements depend on the post code, subject, and department or employer, so candidates need to check the specific entry in the notice and the relevant department’s recruitment rules.

For example, Directorate of Education TGT Mathematics entries required a relevant bachelor’s degree with Mathematics as the main subject, a degree in education, working knowledge of Hindi, and CTET qualification. The notice also set out specified exceptions and relaxations. Other subjects and NDMC posts had their own subject and language requirements. This example should not be used to infer eligibility for another post code. DSSSB Advertisement No. 02/2024

Where can I check the exam scheme and syllabus?

DSSSB’s FAQ says examination schemes are published in the detailed advertisement and indicative syllabi are available on the Board’s official website. Use the scheme and syllabus relevant to the particular post, and verify details against the current official notice rather than relying on a generic TGT outline. DSSSB FAQ

Was there an application fee?

DSSSB’s general FAQ lists an examination fee of Rs. 100 per post-code examination, exemptions for women and specified categories, and states that the fee is non-refundable. This is general FAQ guidance, not a way to pay for the closed 2024 advertisement. Confirm the fee and any exemption in the notice for a future recruitment. DSSSB FAQ
