DSSSB’s 25 July 2024 notice set computer-based examination dates for various post codes and departments, with exams reported from 12 August to 26 September 2024. That schedule has passed. The notice’s post-wise table is useful for checking what was scheduled, but candidates’ individual exam centre, date and timing were to be confirmed on their e-admit cards.
What was the DSSSB exam schedule for 2024?
The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) issued the notice on 25 July 2024 for computer-based examinations for various Government of NCT of Delhi departments and post codes. Scroll reported the examination window as 12 August–26 September 2024. These are historical dates, not an upcoming exam calendar.
The official notice describes a post-wise schedule with columns for exam date, shift, timing, advertisement number, post code, post name and organization or department. Check the official DSSSB notice dated 25 July 2024 for the schedule. The accessible text of that three-page PDF does not expose every row clearly, so the examples below are not a complete list.
Examples of posts shown in the notice
- On 12 August 2024, the visible schedule includes Nursing Officer, Senior Laboratory Assistant, Assistant Dietician and Dental Hygienist.
- On 13 August 2024, it includes Nursing Officer and Senior Scientific Assistant (Chemistry).
- Scroll’s report also names Homeopathic Pharmacist and Assistant Electric Fitter among the posts covered.
These examples identify posts, not a complete set of dates, shifts or timings for every post.
How to find the relevant row in the schedule
- Open the official DSSSB PDF linked above.
- Find the row for your post code, then confirm the post name and department. Do not rely only on a broad post-name list; the schedule is organized by post code as well as post name.
- Use the row’s date and shift information as the published schedule entry. For your own reporting details, follow the e-admit card rather than assuming the common schedule gives your centre or individual timing.
Where to check your exam centre and individual timing
Scroll’s 27 July 2024 report said the notice directed candidates to check the examination centre, date and timing on their e-admit cards, with download links to be provided through the Board’s official website. Use the DSSSB website and your own e-admit card for candidate-specific logistics; the general schedule does not establish an individual centre.

DSSSB’s Annual Report 2024–25 says the Board conducted written examinations for 414,201 candidates across 52 post codes during that reporting year and had completely shifted to a computer-based examination system. Those are Board-wide annual figures, not counts for the July 2024 notice or its August–September schedule.
