- Technical and engineering candidates: Apply through the INMAS establishment on the NATS portal.
- Specified non-technical candidates: Applicants in streams including B.Sc., B.Pharma and library science could send the prescribed Annexure A form to [email protected].
Those instructions applied to the 2024 intake only. Applicants to a later cycle need to follow that cycle’s own notice, including its stated portal, form, eligibility and deadline.
How were applicants selected?
INMAS said selection would be strictly on merit, based on marks or percentage in the essential qualification. A board constituted by the Director would review applications and shortlist candidates according to the advertised vacancies. The notice said only selected candidates would be informed; it did not establish an interview requirement or guarantee selection.

No. The May 15, 2024 deadline has passed. DRDO subsequently posted separate INMAS apprenticeship notices for FY 2025–26 and FY 2026–27. The FY 2025–26 notice gave an application period of June 1–30, 2025; the FY 2026–27 notice gave March 30–April 30, 2026. DRDO posted a provisional selection list for the latter cycle on June 22, 2026. These later records do not indicate that applications are open now.
For a new opportunity, verify the latest listing on DRDO’s official vacancies page and check the NATS portal. Use the dates, eligible qualifications, vacancies and application method in the current official notice, not the 2024 details.
