Dominick Cicale announced the launch of Official Crypto Nostra ($OCN) in 2025. Its whitepaper describes OCN as a meme coin—not a guaranteed investment—and warns that buyers could face volatility, illiquidity, transfer restrictions, and loss of value. The project has also announced gaming, NFT, and commerce plans, but those announcements alone do not establish that the features are operating.
What is Official Crypto Nostra?
Official Crypto Nostra, also called Crypto Nostra or $OCN, is a token project that Cicale announced on April 22, 2025. The launch announcement identified him as the project’s founder and described OCN as a blockchain-based token. In that announcement, Cicale said: “This isn’t just another coin. It’s a movement,” and framed the project around his views on loyalty and lost trust in institutions. The whitepaper calls OCN a meme coin. The project’s “mafia” identity and the phrase “The World’s First Mafia Crypto Coin” are marketing language, not independently established classifications or proof of a unique market position.
What features has the project announced?
In a June 16, 2025 announcement, Official Crypto Nostra described plans for gaming, NFTs, and commerce, including a game called “Rise to Power” and token-related discounts. These are issuer claims and descriptions of intended features. Distinguish a planned ecosystem from a functioning product. Before relying on a claimed use, a reader would need current, independently checkable information about the relevant app or service, access requirements, and whether the token is accepted in practice. The project’s promotional descriptions do not verify those points.
What risks does the whitepaper disclose?
The whitepaper warns that OCN may be volatile or illiquid, may have limits on transferability, and could lose value. It says profits are not guaranteed and notes that EU investor-compensation and deposit-guarantee schemes do not cover the token. It also identifies changing regulation as a risk. The whitepaper also says the project is unsuitable for a UK audience under its stated regulatory position. That is the issuer’s own statement; readers should not treat it as an independent determination of the law or of their eligibility.
What should a reader verify before assessing OCN?
The announcements and whitepaper do not establish several facts needed to assess a token’s present market status. Check current primary documentation and independent market information rather than relying on launch or utility publicity. In particular, verify:

- token distribution and any relevant supply or transfer terms;
- whether the announced game, NFT, app, or commerce features are live and usable;
- geographic restrictions and the terms that apply to your location.
