Yes. Delta Air Lines owns Endeavor Air, a regional airline that flies under the Delta Connection brand. But Delta Connection is not another name for Endeavor: it also includes Republic Airways and SkyWest Airlines, which Delta describes as regional carrier partners rather than subsidiaries.
Endeavor Air is Delta’s wholly owned regional carrier
Delta’s 2022 Form 10-K identifies Endeavor Air as a wholly owned subsidiary and names Republic Airways and SkyWest Airlines as other regional carriers operating through Delta Connection agreements. Delta’s February 2025 company update likewise describes Endeavor as a wholly owned subsidiary headquartered in Minneapolis. Delta’s flight-partner page currently lists all three as Delta Connection carriers.
The distinction is ownership: Endeavor belongs to Delta, while Republic and SkyWest operate as regional partners. A shared Delta Connection label does not mean the airlines have the same owner.
What Delta Connection means
Delta Connection is the brand and program under which regional carriers provide flights as part of Delta’s network. Delta’s 2022 filing says these arrangements help connect the route system and serve smaller and medium-sized domestic cities. It describes the primary agreements as capacity purchase arrangements: for flights operating under Delta’s DL designator code, Delta controls matters such as scheduling, pricing, reservations, ticketing and seat inventory. Those details describe the arrangements in that filing, not a new review of every current contract.

Which airline operates a particular Delta Connection flight?
The operator can vary from one itinerary to another. Delta says travelers can book regional flights through Delta, and its U.S. Contract of Carriage, last modified August 18, 2026, says Delta identifies the operating carrier during booking. The contract also includes Delta Connection carriers in references to Delta for purposes of that contract. Check the operating-carrier details in the itinerary rather than assuming every Delta Connection flight is operated by Endeavor.
How large is Endeavor Air?
Delta CEO Jim Graham’s biography says Endeavor operates more than 750 daily departures under the Delta Connection brand. The page does not display a publication date, so that figure is best treated as a snapshot of the company-published information available when the page was accessed in 2026; schedules can change. The same biography reports more than 2,300 daily departures and over 380 aircraft for Delta’s three regional partner airlines combined, also as an undated company-published snapshot.
