Yes. Apple’s U.S. Veterans and Military Purchase Program currently offers eligible military members, veterans, National Guard and Reserve members, and qualifying immediate family members a 10% discount on Apple products and accessories. Verify your status with ID.me before shopping through Apple’s dedicated program store.
What Apple’s military discount covers
Apple’s program page describes the offer as 10% off Apple products and accessories. Apple’s Veterans and Military Purchase Program is the current place to check the offer and shop; the discount applies through that program rather than automatically appearing in Apple’s standard store.
Launch coverage included iPhones, Macs, Apple Watch, iPads, Apple TV, HomePod, AirPods, cases, bands and some third-party accessories. That reporting establishes that AirPods and iPhones were within the program’s product scope, but it is not a current model-by-model price list. Check the program store for the item and price available now.
Who is eligible
Apple says current and veteran members of the U.S. military, National Guard and Reserve are eligible. Immediate family members who live in the same household are also included. The offer is U.S.-specific; the program page does not establish eligibility for military members in other countries.

How to get the discount
- Go to Apple’s Veterans and Military Purchase Program store.
- Verify active-military or veteran status with ID.me when prompted. Apple requires verification before shoppers enter the store.
- Shop the eligible product and accessory selection in the program store and review the displayed price before checkout.
Payment restrictions
Apple says Apple Card Monthly Installments are not currently available for this offer. Apple Upgrade is also unavailable as a payment type. If you are comparing this offer with another way to buy, compare the final delivered price, available models, taxes, financing eligibility, verification requirements, and return and warranty terms; the discount percentage alone does not determine the best deal.
When the program launched
Apple launched its dedicated U.S. online military and veterans store on December 3, 2018. At launch, Apple said it was offering “active military and veterans a new dedicated online store with special pricing as an expression of our gratitude for their brave service,” as reported by TechCrunch. Apple’s 2021 newsroom article later described special pricing available throughout the year for veterans and U.S. military members, including active-duty, Reserve and National Guard members.

Prices quoted in 2018 launch coverage are historical, not current offers. For example, MacRumors reported an iPhone XS starting at $899 through the program versus $999 in Apple’s standard store, and an iPhone XR starting at $674 versus $749; those launch-era examples should not be used to estimate today’s savings.
