Yes—but the roles matter. British Cycling still lists adidas as an official clothing partner for its Great Britain Cycling Team, Para-cycling Team and talent-development programmes. For on-bike clothing, however, British Cycling announced Italian brand Alé as its official partner in January 2025 for four years. The public information does not say that the adidas relationship ended, nor does it spell out how the two clothing roles overlap.
What adidas’s British Cycling partnership covers
British Cycling’s current adidas partner profile describes adidas as an official clothing partner supplying apparel and accessories to three groups:
- The Great Britain Cycling Team
- The Great Britain Para-cycling Team
- Talent-development programmes
The profile does not state a contract term, financial value or the exact clothing categories covered. It also does not explain how the broad clothing-partner listing relates to Alé’s on-bike role, so it would be inaccurate to infer that adidas supplies all current racing kit—or that its partnership has ended.
Why Alé is the current on-bike clothing partner
On 7 January 2025, British Cycling announced Alé as its official on-bike clothing partner for four years. That announcement makes Alé the named partner for the team’s on-bike clothing role; it does not, by itself, resolve the scope of adidas’s separately listed official clothing partnership.

The announcements describe different roles, not a product comparison. They provide no independent testing or evidence that one brand’s clothing performs better than the other’s.
How the partnership developed
British Cycling dates its relationship with adidas to 2005. In a retrospective published on 31 July 2015, it marked ten years of working together and said the Great Britain Cycling Team had won 306 medals across Olympic, Paralympic and World Championship competitions during that decade. The figure is a historical total reported by British Cycling, not a measure of adidas’s contribution to those results.

The 2015 article also said replica kit was available online from adidas at the time. That is evidence of historical availability only, not confirmation that British Cycling-branded adidas replica kit is currently for sale. British Cycling’s anniversary retrospective includes statements from rider Laura Trott and adidas cycling-products head Nelson Madlangbayan praising the kit; those were promotional comments from 2015, not independent testing or current endorsements.
Other named suppliers in British Cycling’s partner landscape
Clothing is only one part of the team’s supplier relationships. In June 2026, British Cycling reported four-year extensions for Lazer and Shimano through 2030. It described Lazer as the team’s official helmet supplier since 2014. These are separate equipment and cycling-products partnerships, not evidence about the scope of adidas’s clothing agreement.

- A cycling jersey with 3-stripes style and a body-hugging fit
- Soft, high-stretch material: Ventilated, slightly textured fabric increases breathability and moisture management.
- Built-in storage: Three easily accessible pockets on the back can store a jacket, phone, and snacks. A bonus small zip pocket secures small valuables on the back as well.
- Primeblue: This product is made with Primeblue, a high-performance recycled material made in part with Parley Ocean Plastic.
- Three back pockets; One small side zip pocket
British Cycling’s June 2026 announcement states the extensions’ duration and end date; it does not establish comparable financial terms for these suppliers or adidas.

Current availability is not established by the cited British Cycling information. The 2015 retrospective confirms that replica kit was sold online then, but it does not confirm present stock, an authorized current retailer or whether any listings are official. Check the seller and product details carefully before treating an adidas cycling jersey as British Cycling-branded replica kit.
