Yes—the DJI Osmo Mobile 7 has been listed for about $59 against a $75 reference price, a nominal saving of $16 or approximately 21.3%. DJI’s U.S. listing showed $58.99, while B&H listed $59. However, stock and regional pricing can change, and DJI’s page has also displayed an out-of-stock notice. Verify the seller, exact model and final checkout total before paying.
This is the standard Osmo Mobile 7, not the $99 Osmo Mobile 7P. For basic three-axis phone stabilization, a built-in tripod and app-based tracking, the lower-priced model is compelling. The 7P is the better choice only if you need its extension rod, Multifunctional Module, lighting or broader tracking and audio features.
Is the DJI Osmo Mobile 7 really available for $59?
The reported deal is credible, but it is not a guaranteed nationwide price. DJI’s store lists a $75 regular price, DJI USA has shown $58.99, and B&H has listed the gimbal at $59. That is a $16 reduction from $75:
- $75 − $59 = $16 saved
- $16 ÷ $75 = 21.33%, or about 21% off
The displayed amount may differ by country, tax, shipping charge, promotion timing and seller. DJI’s product page can show the deal price while indicating that inventory is unavailable. Check that an “Add to cart” option works, confirm the delivery date and inspect the final total.

What the $59 standard package includes
- DJI Osmo Mobile 7 gimbal
- DJI OM Magnetic Phone Clamp 4
- 50 cm USB-C-to-USB-C cable
- Storage pouch
The box does not include the Osmo Mobile 7P’s built-in extension rod or its standard Multifunctional Module. There is no integrated fill light, microphone receiver or guaranteed native-camera tracking module in this standalone configuration.
What the Osmo Mobile 7 does
The Osmo Mobile 7 is a smartphone stabilizer, not a camera. Its three-axis mechanical system can reduce rotational shake while walking, panning or reframing, but the final image still depends on your phone, camera app, lighting and technique.
- ActiveTrack 7.0: subject tracking through supported DJI software.
- Built-in tripod: useful for stationary shots, presentations and time-lapses.
- Foldable design: approximately 179 × 95 × 39 mm when folded and 278 × 107 × 93 mm unfolded.
- DJI Mimo support: enables DJI’s app-based shooting and tracking features.
- Phone charging: the gimbal can supply power through USB-C, although doing so reduces gimbal runtime.
- Bluetooth 5.3: used for wireless phone communication.
DJI rates operating time at approximately 10 hours under controlled conditions with the gimbal balanced and stationary, without additional accessories. Tracking, frequent repositioning, phone charging and optional module or fill-light use can shorten that figure.

Phone compatibility: check these measurements first
DJI recommends phones within these ranges:
- Width: 67–84 mm
- Thickness: 6.9–10 mm
- Weight: 170–300 g
The 10 mm thickness limit includes the case. A camera bump, wallet case, battery case or attached accessory can interfere even when the phone’s basic dimensions appear suitable. DJI recommends checking the model-specific compatibility information rather than relying only on measurements.
- Measure the phone with its case installed.
- Remove wallet, battery or unusually bulky cases if they exceed the limit.
- Confirm the phone’s weight and width against DJI’s guidance.
- Check DJI’s compatibility list for the exact model.
- Mount the phone near the center of the clamp and secure it before powering on.
The magnetic clamp is designed for compatible cases up to the combined thickness limit. DJI also warns that magnets can affect magnetic-sensitive items such as bank cards, pacemakers, RAM chips and hard drives. Keep those items away from the mount.
Does it need manual balancing?
DJI says the Osmo Mobile 7 Series does not require manual balancing when using the magnetic clamp; attach the phone approximately in the middle. That does not make every phone-and-case combination equivalent. A heavy case or accessory can increase motor load, cause poorer handling or prevent a secure fit. Remove incompatible attachments and verify the phone is held firmly before filming.

The 7P’s Multifunctional Module adds intelligent tracking that can work beyond DJI Mimo in supported situations, audio-reception compatibility, lighting and a side wheel for fill-light brightness and color temperature. Those features matter to solo presenters, livestreamers and vloggers who need to frame themselves with the phone’s native camera or a third-party app. They are unnecessary for buyers who mainly want stabilization and a tripod.

Osmo Mobile SE
DJI’s comparison page lists the Osmo Mobile SE at $55, only about $4 below the reported Osmo Mobile 7 deal. If both prices are available, the newer 7 generally offers stronger value for the small difference. Choose the SE when the lowest possible price is the overriding concern and its older feature set is acceptable.

Osmo Mobile 6
DJI’s comparison lists a $109 reference price for the Osmo Mobile 6, although retailer clearance pricing may be very different. Consider it only when a seller discounts it substantially below the 7. Paying more for the older model without a specific feature reason is difficult to justify.
Osmo Mobile 7P
Pay the extra amount for the 7P when you will regularly use the extension rod, integrated light, supported native or third-party-app tracking, or audio-related Multifunctional Module features. Otherwise, the lighter standard 7 is the more economical purchase.
Physical-use limits to understand
- The built-in tripod is intended for stable, level, windless surfaces. Use a separate grip tripod or heavier support for demanding conditions.
- A gimbal cannot remove every jolt from running, impacts or unstable footing.
- The device is designed for smartphones, not interchangeable-lens cameras or heavy external rigs.
- Operating temperature is approximately 0–40°C (32–104°F).
- Charging takes approximately 2.5 hours with a 10 W USB-C charger.
- The base uses a standard 1/4"-20 UNC tripod mounting hole.
Accessories that can change the real cost
The standard package is sufficient for stabilization and DJI Mimo tracking, but optional hardware can raise your total. DJI USA has shown price signals of $25 for a phone-charging/audio-recording cable, $99 for an OM 7 Series Tracking Kit, $19 for an OM Magnetic Phone Clamp 4 and $19 for an OM Magnetic Quick-Release Mount. These accessories are not mandatory; buy them only for a defined need such as additional mounting, charging or expanded tracking and audio functions.
Deal checklist before you order
- Confirm the cart says Osmo Mobile 7, not 7P, Vlog Combo, Tracking Kit or another bundle.
- Check whether the unit is new, used, refurbished or imported.
- Verify the seller identity, warranty terms, return policy and delivery date.
- Recheck stock at checkout because displayed price and inventory can conflict.
- Calculate tax and shipping before comparing the total with the $59 headline price.
- Confirm your phone’s width, thickness with case and weight, then check DJI’s model list.
Verdict: is $59 a good buy?
Buy the standard DJI Osmo Mobile 7 at about $59 if you want a current, portable phone gimbal with three-axis stabilization, a built-in tripod and basic ActiveTrack features, and your phone fits DJI’s limits. The price is roughly 21% below DJI’s $75 reference price.
Choose the 7P instead when an extension rod, integrated light, supported native-app tracking or audio functionality is central to your workflow. Hold off on either model when the listing is out of stock, the seller is ambiguous or your phone-and-case combination exceeds the compatibility limits.
