Where the $5 million claim came from
TheRichest used the claim in the title and description of a video published May 30, 2024. Its description says the European leg involved “$5 million expenses,” but the available material does not provide an itemized calculation or underlying records. TheRichest video and description establish that the publisher made the claim; they do not establish that Swift spent that amount.
The description also promotes figures such as $85,000 for Paris landing and parking and $17 million generated per show. Those, too, are claims in the description, not independently validated figures in the available material. They should not be treated as confirmed costs or revenues.
What Bloomberg reported—and what it did not
In an October 26, 2023 report, Bloomberg said an SEC disclosure linked Swift’s father to 10 companies affiliated with her, including entities that own her tour bus, two private jets and real estate. That is ownership context, not evidence that a particular aircraft was used for the European leg or that Swift paid $5 million for it. Bloomberg’s report does not give an itinerary-specific jet-spending total.

Bloomberg said its wealth estimates accounted for income tax, tour production and travel costs, and agent and manager commissions. That broader accounting still does not identify a European-leg private-jet cost or verify TheRichest’s headline amount. The 2023 reporting also should not be used to infer current aircraft ownership or flight activity.
Why other Eras Tour figures do not verify the jet expense
Several large numbers associated with the tour measure different things. They cannot be used as substitutes for a documented aircraft-cost calculation.

The supported conclusion is narrow: TheRichest published the $5 million claim, but the available source material does not show the included cost categories, dates, aircraft or source data behind it. Bloomberg’s ownership and tour-economics reporting provides context, not confirmation. Without a transparent calculation or a source documenting the expense, the amount should be described as an unverified claim—not as a confirmed payment by Swift.
