No. Ram’s official announcement said the returning 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 for the 2026 Ram 1500 drew more than 10,000 orders in its first 24 hours—not that 10,000 trucks were built in 2025. A separate report attributes a 100,000-truck production target for 2026 to Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis, but that is a forward-looking target, not a verified production total.
What does the 10,000 figure count?
Ram said it opened orders for the 5.7-liter HEMI V-8 in the 2026 Ram 1500 and received more than 10,000 orders in the first 24 hours. The figure measures orders following the announcement; it does not establish how many trucks were assembled or delivered in 2025. Ram’s announcement is the source for the order figure and model-year details.
How many HEMI Ram 1500s are coming in 2026?
A 2026 interview result attributes a plan to build 100,000 HEMI trucks to Ram CEO Tim Kuniskis. Treat that number as a reported production target, not proof that 100,000 trucks were ultimately built or delivered. The interview result is not an official production report. The interview result is the cited source for the attributed target.
Ram’s announcement confirms the HEMI’s return for the 2026 model year, but the available figures do not establish how many of those trucks have since been produced, delivered, or offered at a particular dealer. Those are separate measures from orders and a stated target.

What does the HEMI return mean for a truck buyer?
The 2026 Ram 1500 towing guide includes a 5.7L HEMI V8 configuration. The guide lists range-wide maximums of up to 10,000 pounds of towing and up to 1,490 pounds of payload; those are maxima for the Ram 1500 range, not guaranteed ratings for every HEMI truck. Ram’s 2026 towing and payload guide gives configuration-specific information.
Before comparing a HEMI truck with another Ram 1500—or deciding whether its ratings meet your needs—check the exact model year, trim, cab, bed, drivetrain and equipment. Towing and payload capacity vary by configuration. Verify current availability and transaction pricing with a dealer; the announcement and guide do not establish live inventory or what a buyer will pay.
