Former NBA player Chandler Parsons said Doncic had “just closed,” but Doncic’s business manager was later reported to say the home was still under contract, with closing expected weeks later. The available accounts do not establish whether that deal ultimately closed.
What happened with the reported $15 million home?
The $15 million figure came from Chandler Parsons on FanDuel’s Run It Back. Realtor.com reported that Parsons said Doncic had closed on a Dallas home the previous week, but Parsons did not identify the property or provide details that would verify a sale. Realtor.com also reported that Doncic’s representatives did not respond to its repeated requests for comment. Realtor.com’s February 3, 2025 report
A different account described a pending transaction, not a completed one. OutKick, relaying a statement Lara Beth Seager made to The Dallas Morning News, reported that Doncic had been in the process of purchasing a home in the area for himself and his family and was under contract, with closing expected in a few weeks. That does not confirm a completed $15 million purchase. OutKick’s February 4, 2025 report
Weekly Real Estate News likewise characterized the claim as untrue as stated, citing USA Today Sports reporting that property records showed no recent home purchase and a separate account that Doncic was pursuing a house but had not completed the transaction. What the reports establish—and what they do not
- Established: Parsons made the claim that Doncic had just closed on a $15 million Dallas home. That is a reported statement, not proof of a sale.
- Also reported: Seager’s account described a home purchase under contract and an expected future closing.
- Not established: The property’s identity, a completed closing, a final sale price, or whether the contract later closed or was canceled.
- Not safe to conclude: That Doncic owns a $15 million Dallas mansion, or that he sold, kept, or canceled the home described as under contract.

| February 4, 2025 | Weekly Real Estate News and OutKick | Weekly Real Estate News said the purchase story was not true as stated. OutKick relayed Seager’s account that the home purchase was still in process and closing was expected weeks later. |
Doncic’s previously reported Dallas home
Realtor.com reported that property records listed Doncic on the deed to a home in Dallas’s Preston Hollow neighborhood, purchased in June 2020 for $3.3 million. Weekly Real Estate News, citing USA Today Sports, reported a $3.7 million price for that same home. Those secondary reports conflict, so neither figure should be treated here as a settled purchase price.

The trade sent Doncic to the Los Angeles Lakers and Anthony Davis to the Dallas Mavericks as part of a three-team deal announced in early February 2025. Its timing helps explain why the alleged Dallas purchase attracted attention, but it does not resolve the home contract’s status. The reports available do not establish whether the transaction was completed after the trade or what happened to it.
