More importantly, the article does not establish a verified 2024 return for either token: it supplies no independently sourced return statistic that would support calling the performance “amazing.”
That is not the same as proving that neither token rose in value. It means the headline should not be treated as a performance record or as evidence that either token was a successful investment. A return claim needs a defined measurement period, a price basis, and a calculation; none is established by the headline itself.
What is established about BONK
BONK’s project materials describe it as a Solana SPL community coin, with an intended role across Solana decentralized applications (dApps). On its official About page, BONK says it launched on Christmas Day after the late-2022 market disruption and that more than half of its supply was distributed to Solana developers and creators. The paper describes a 50% initial allocation plan for four recipient groups. These are the project’s accounts of its launch and planned distribution—not independently verified measurements of the resulting distribution, user adoption, or investment returns.
The project site expresses its community-first idea this way: “BONK was founded under a simple belief: if you take care of the community, the community takes care of you.” That is a statement of the project’s intended ethos, not a promise about token performance.

What is—and is not—established about RETIK
The Android Experto article frames RETIK around DeFi payment and wallet products, with the investment case depending on product delivery and adoption. Those are claims and analysis presented by that article; the reviewed material does not independently establish that the products are currently operating, that users have adopted them, or that security audits and partnerships support the thesis. Without that verification, a reader cannot treat the product narrative as demonstrated utility.

- Volatility and sentiment: The article describes BONK as sensitive to meme sentiment and Solana conditions. A community-token narrative can shift quickly, and the cited project materials do not demonstrate that demand will persist.
- Liquidity: A quoted token price is not the same as the price at which a reader can buy or sell a meaningful amount. Liquidity conditions can affect execution and realized results.

What to verify before treating a token as an investment
- Check the claim’s measurement period. A claim about 2024 needs dated beginning and ending prices, a clearly stated method, and a source for the data. Do not infer performance from a future-tense headline.
- Verify the product, if utility is part of the case. Look for current primary documentation, working product access, and independently checkable evidence of use. For RETIK, the reviewed material does not establish these points.
- Separate project statements from independent evidence. BONK’s project pages and paper document what the project says it is and intended to do; they do not independently verify adoption or future demand.
