The DGAFMS recruitment 2025 application window is closed: online applications ran from January 7 to February 6, 2025. The Directorate General of Armed Forces Medical Services (DGAFMS), under the Ministry of Defence, advertised 113 tentative Group C civilian vacancies across 13 post categories. The written examinations were held June 3–6, 2025; an October notice scheduled document verification and trade tests for three posts. The available official updates do not establish the final result or status of every post.
Current status of DGAFMS recruitment 2025
This is a completed application cycle, not an open recruitment. The official DGAFMS portal lists applications from 12:00 PM on January 7, 2025, until 11:59 PM on February 6, 2025, and written examination dates of June 3–6, 2025. A later portal notice scheduled document verification and trade-specific tests in Delhi for Stenographer Grade II, Lower Division Clerk (LDC), and Fireman on October 7–9, 2025, with October 10 as a reserve date. That notice covers those stages and posts only; it does not confirm final results or the status of all 13 categories. Check the official DGAFMS portal for archived updates.

Depending on the post, candidates who qualified in the written examination could be called for a typing, shorthand, or trade test. The later portal notice specifically scheduled document verification and trade-specific tests for Stenographer Grade II, LDC, and Fireman; it should not be read as an update covering every post.
How to check official updates now
Because the application period has ended, there is no application step to complete for this cycle. Use the official DGAFMS portal to look for any archived notices or post-specific updates. If a notice relates to a particular test or document-verification schedule, confirm that it applies to your post and stage before relying on it; the October 2025 notice alone does not establish the recruitment’s final outcome.
