DFCCIL extended the application and fee-submission deadline for its 2025 recruitment to 22 March 2025 at 23:45. The recruitment covered 642 vacancies for Junior Manager, Executive and Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) posts. The first-stage computer-based test (CBT) was later scheduled for 10 and 11 July 2025; both deadlines and exam dates are now past.

What was the last date to apply for DFCCIL Recruitment 2025?

The extended deadline for online registration and fee submission under Advertisement No. 01/DR/2025 was 22 March 2025 at 23:45. DFCCIL announced the extension in a notice dated 21 February 2025. The original recruitment notice had opened applications on 18 January 2025 and set 16 February 2025 as the initial closing date.

The recruitment FAQ said applications could not be submitted after the deadline stated in the advertisement. The extension applied to this 2025 recruitment; it should not be taken as a deadline for any later DFCCIL vacancy.

Which posts and vacancies did the recruitment cover?

DFCCIL’s Advertisement No. 01/DR/2025 listed 642 vacancies across Junior Manager, Executive and MTS roles in multiple disciplines. Applicants needed to check the relevant post code, discipline, eligibility requirements and vacancy category in the advertisement before applying.

Candidates applying for more than one post code were instructed to submit a separate application and fee for each. DFCCIL’s FAQ also cautioned that exam schedules could coincide, so multiple applications did not guarantee candidates could attend every exam.

What were the DFCCIL MTS and Executive exam dates?

DFCCIL’s Stage 1 notice scheduled CBT sessions as follows:

Date Posts and disciplines scheduled
10 July 2025 Executive (Signal & Telecommunication) and Executive (Civil)
11 July 2025 MTS, Junior Manager (Finance) and Executive (Electrical)

These were the announced Stage 1 dates, not upcoming exam dates. The February extension notice had set out a tentative later timeline; the July schedule came from DFCCIL’s subsequent Stage 1 notice.

How many applications did DFCCIL receive?

In a notice dated 28 March 2025, DFCCIL reported the following application counts:

Post Applications reported
MTS 142,976
Executive (Civil) 26,860
Executive (Electrical) 32,411
Executive (Signal & Telecommunication) 20,499
Junior Manager (Finance) 394

DFCCIL said category-wise segregation had not been maintained at that stage. These figures count applications; they do not show how many applicants were eligible, attended an exam or were selected. They cannot be used alone to calculate an individual candidate’s selection odds.

What were the application fees and exam-day requirements?

For this recruitment, DFCCIL’s FAQ stated a non-refundable fee of ₹1,000 for UR/OBC/EWS candidates and ₹500 for MTS candidates, plus applicable charges if any. These amounts relate to Advertisement No. 01/DR/2025 only.

The Stage 1 exam notice instructed candidates to bring:

  • A printed e-admit card
  • An original government photo ID
  • Two recent passport-size colour photographs
  • A transparent blue or black ball pen for rough work
  • A transparent PET water bottle

How can applicants check the recruitment’s current status?

The available official notices establish the deadline extension, application counts and Stage 1 schedule, but they do not establish the complete recruitment outcome as of 8 October 2026. The candidate login page is a roll-number login; its existence alone does not confirm whether results, PET, document verification, appointments or final selection notices have been published. For a current status, check DFCCIL’s Careers notices and use the official candidate portal for application or login matters. DFCCIL’s FAQ also advised candidates to retain a copy of the application form generated by the online system.
