The Delta One award sale advertised at prices starting at 99,000 SkyMiles is over. Travel + Leisure reported on December 18, 2024, that travelers had to book by December 19, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. ET; Delta’s SkyMiles Award Flash Sale page now says the sale has wrapped up. The reported travel dates fell in the first half of 2025, so those prices and dates are historical—not a current offer or a guarantee that seats were available on every itinerary.
What the 99,000-mile Delta One sale offered
The promotion was a limited-time award sale for Delta One, Delta’s business-class cabin. The December 2024 report said some awards started at 99,000 SkyMiles, with eligible travel dates varying within the first half of 2025. Taxes and fees varied by destination. Delta says advertised award prices depend on real-time availability and can change before ticketing.
The 99,000-mile figure was a reported starting price, not a fixed price for every route or date. The published route examples below were reported from 100,000 miles one way, so they should not be confused with the headline starting price.

What to verify before booking an award
- Price per direction: Confirm whether the displayed miles cover one way or a round trip, and multiply by the number of travelers.
- Cash charges: Check the taxes and fees shown for the exact itinerary; they can vary by destination.
- Cabin on each segment: Verify that Delta One is shown on every flight where you expect it. A trip’s overall label alone may not describe every segment.
- Current availability: Search the live dates you can travel and recheck the final price during booking. Delta’s SkyMiles Award Flash Sale terms state: “Fares are subject to availability and may change at any time before completion of ticketing.”
- Card discount eligibility: Treat the reported 15% discount as a historical promotion. Check current card and award terms rather than assuming it applies to a new booking.
Product prices and availability are accurate as of the date/time indicated and are subject to change. Any price and availability information displayed on Amazon at the time of purchase will apply.
