Israeli AI security company DeepKeep emerged from stealth on May 1, 2024, announcing an AI-Native Trust, Risk, and Security Management (TRiSM) platform and a $10 million seed round led by Awz Ventures. SecurityWeek independently reported the launch and funding. The company says its platform helps organizations assess and protect AI systems from development through deployment.
What DeepKeep launched—and what the funding was for
DeepKeep, established in 2021, introduced a model-agnostic platform intended to help data-science and security teams understand and manage risks across the AI lifecycle. Its stated scope runs from research and development to deployment, with capabilities for assessment, detection, prevention, alerts, and mitigation.
The company announced $10 million in seed funding alongside its May 2024 launch. The round was led by Awz Ventures. The announcement did not disclose a valuation, the round’s other investors, or how the proceeds would be allocated.
What the platform does
DeepKeep’s current product information describes a set of tools for finding AI systems and assessing risks before and during use. The company presents its platform as a unified way to evaluate models, applications, and agents rather than as a tool limited to one model or stage of development.
#1 Best Overall
| Capability | What DeepKeep says it covers |
|---|---|
| Model and application assessment | Model scanning, machine-learning bills of materials, and detection of CVEs (known software vulnerabilities). |
| Agent discovery and mapping | Identifying connected tools, intents, data sources, reachable actions, and vulnerabilities, then showing them in a visual risk map. |
| Testing and safeguards | AI red teaming and an AI Firewall that DeepKeep says includes more than 60 runtime guardrails. |
| Usage oversight | Discovery of shadow-AI use, role-based usage controls, and runtime protection. |
| Risk view | Unified risk scoring across models, applications, and agents. |
These are vendor-described capabilities, not an independent evaluation of effectiveness or coverage. The product information does not, in the material available here, specify the complete list of guardrails or provide comparable performance results.
AI Agent Scanner: the later product announcement
On March 3, 2026, DeepKeep announced its AI Agent Scanner. The company says it maps an agent’s connected tools, intents, data sources, and vulnerabilities; generates a visual risk map; recommends defensive actions; and provides runtime protection for selected agent frameworks. DeepKeep said the scanner was available free to enterprises; the announcement does not establish whether that offer has conditions or how long it lasts.

- HARDWARE PLUS SECURITY SERVICES: FortiGate-60F Firewall Appliance bundled with 3 year of FortiCare Premium and FortiGuard Unified Threat Protection.
- UNIFIED THREAT PROTECTION (UTP): Secures against advanced online threats with comprehensive web filtering and anti-botnet technologies.
- OPTIMIZED FOR MEDIUM-SIZED BUSINESSES: Tailored for businesses needing robust security without the infrastructure of larger enterprises.
- RELIABLE CUSTOMER SUPPORT: FortiCare Premium ensures high-quality support and service continuity.
- EFFECTIVE PROTECTION: Employs advanced filtering technologies to safeguard against sophisticated threats.
The announcement named support for Microsoft frameworks, Agentforce, OpenAI Agents, CrewAI, Amazon Bedrock AgentCore, n8n, and Make. That list reflects frameworks named in DeepKeep’s announcement, not a guarantee that every feature works identically across them.
Where enterprises can deploy or procure DeepKeep
DeepKeep lists SaaS, on-premises, private-cloud, and air-gapped deployment options. On February 3, 2026, it also announced that its enterprise platform was available through Google Cloud Marketplace and AWS Marketplace. The marketplace announcement describes access, deployment, and integration for enterprise AI safety, compliance, and trustworthiness, but does not state public pricing or contract terms.

- Built on a purposed-built secure processor, this compact network firewall delivers the highest level of security performance and energy efficiency in its class – 2.25 Gbps IPS throughput | 1.1 Gbps threat protection | 1.3 Gbps SSL Inspection throughput.
- User-friendly management console gives you centralized visibility and simplifies policy enforcement across your network. Its zero-touch deployment helps you optimize your onboarding experience.
- Compact and fanless design equipped with 5 GE RJ45 ports (1 WAN port and 4 internal ports).
- Fortinet is the most deployed and trusted firewall from businesses worldwide with 99.98% security effectiveness, surpassing competition. Fortinet is the only vendor recognized as a firewall leader 13 consecutive years by Gartner.
These are distinct considerations: marketplace availability is a procurement route, while SaaS, private cloud, on-premises, and air-gapped describe deployment choices. Organizations evaluating the platform would need to confirm which configurations, integrations, and commercial terms are available for their account and environment.

In its March 2026 scanner announcement, DeepKeep quoted Gartner’s prediction that 15% of routine business decisions would involve AI agents by 2028. This is a forecast cited by DeepKeep, not a measurement of current adoption.

DeepKeep’s February 2026 marketplace release also quoted IBM’s estimate that breaches involving shadow AI in 2025 added approximately $670,000 to the average data-breach cost. The figure is attributed to IBM through DeepKeep’s release; it describes the reported average increment associated with those breaches, not a guaranteed cost for any individual organization.
The business issue is that AI systems can connect sensitive information, models, and actions in ways that conventional software inventories may not make obvious. DeepKeep’s stated approach is to discover those systems, assess their risks, and apply controls during use. Its actual fit depends on an organization’s AI stack, required deployment model, and the specific integrations and controls it needs.
