A Dassault Falcon Jet preowned listing priced one Falcon 2000LX at $13.9 million. These are asking prices, not verified sale prices. Annual cost estimates also vary sharply by model, utilization, fuel price, and what each estimate includes, so none should be treated as a universal ownership bill.
How much does a Dassault Falcon 2000 cost to buy?
The Falcon 2000 is a family of twin-engine, large-cabin business jets, not a single aircraft with one market price. The following asking prices were displayed on the cited pages when reviewed October 8, 2026; they are not confirmed transaction values.
| Aircraft | Displayed asking price | Aircraft details stated in the source |
|---|---|---|
| Original Falcon 2000 | $2.65 million–$6 million | Guardian Jet’s page gives a range; the cited summary does not specify model years or aircraft hours for the individual listings. |
| Falcon 2000LX | $13.9 million | One Dassault Falcon Jet preowned listing; 2,550 aircraft hours. The page’s reviewed asking price is not a verified sale price. |
| Falcon 2000LXS | $21.5 million–$39.5 million | Guardian Jet’s page includes model years through 2026; the cited summary does not provide comparable hours or condition for each aircraft. |

The numbers should not be read as a clean price ladder between variants: they cover different aircraft and listing groups, and the available figures do not establish a consistent set of model years, condition, equipment, or maintenance status. No verified sale-price series across the family is established by these sources.

What does it cost to own a Falcon 2000 per year?
Published estimates are useful as planning references, but they are not directly interchangeable. In particular, the Guardian Jet figures use 300 annual flight hours and a stated fuel assumption of $7.54 per gallon; the Conklin & de Decker report models a Falcon 2000EX at 400 hours and $4.45-per-gallon Jet A. The report was created August 21, 2019, and says its forward-looking estimates are for comparison purposes.
| Model and source | Annual hours and fuel assumption | Annual figures reported | Important qualification |
|---|---|---|---|
| Original Falcon 2000, Guardian Jet, page reviewed October 8, 2026 | 300 hours; $7.54 per gallon | $2,425,032 total; $686,138 fixed and $1,392,894 variable | The listed fixed and variable figures total $2,079,032, which is $346,000 below the stated total. The available summary does not explain the difference or establish whether depreciation and financing are included. |
| Falcon 2000LXS, Guardian Jet, page reviewed October 8, 2026 | 300 hours; $7.54 per gallon | $5,015,380 total; $828,120 fixed and $1,399,560 variable | The listed fixed and variable figures total $2,227,680, which is $2,787,700 below the stated total. The available summary does not explain the difference or establish whether depreciation and financing are included. |
| Falcon 2000EX, Conklin & de Decker, report version 19.1, created August 21, 2019 | 400 hours; $4.45 per gallon Jet A | $2,309,818 before market depreciation; $2,819,818 including a separate $510,000 annual market-depreciation estimate | Uses a $7.5 million acquisition-cost assumption and $136 per labor hour. The report describes estimates as forward-looking and intended for comparison, not as a quote for an individual aircraft. |

The Guardian Jet component figures do not arithmetically reconcile with their stated totals. Request the underlying itemization and confirm exactly which categories each total includes before using either summary to set a budget. The Conklin & de Decker report, by contrast, explicitly separates its market-depreciation estimate from the annual cost before depreciation. Its 2019 assumptions are materially different from the Guardian Jet assumptions, so comparing the totals as though they measured the same aircraft and operating plan would be misleading.
Why costs vary between Falcon 2000 aircraft
Variant, aircraft condition, utilization, and the owner’s mission all affect the budget. A family-wide estimate cannot account for the maintenance position or equipment of a particular jet.

- Fuel and utilization: Annual hours and fuel-price assumptions change the modeled total. Actual trip length, routing, payload, and operating conditions also matter to a buyer’s plan.
- Fixed and trip-related expenses: Crew, hangar, insurance, training, landing and parking fees, and crew travel can vary by location and use.
- Maintenance exposure: Total aircraft time, landings, records, upcoming inspections, aircraft condition, and engine or APU program status affect both near-term cash needs and the value of an asking price.
- Depreciation and financing: These are distinct from routine operating expenses. Establish whether an estimate includes depreciation, loan costs, or neither; the Conklin & de Decker example presents market depreciation separately.
- Variant and equipment: The original 2000, EX, LX, and LXS differ in age, equipment, and performance. For example, Dassault’s June 2020 backgrounder describes LXS features including inboard slats, upgraded engines, and avionics/connectivity options.
What to check before buying a specific aircraft
Compare aircraft on their individual records and your own mission, rather than on variant name or asking price alone. For at least two candidates, request and compare:
- Identity and price: Variant, model year, asking price, and any documented sale-price evidence. Keep asking prices separate from completed transactions.
- Usage and condition: Total aircraft hours and landings, configuration, avionics, cabin condition, installed equipment, and physical condition.
- Maintenance position: Complete maintenance records, next major inspection due, open discrepancies, and expected near-term work.
- Engine and APU coverage: Program enrollment, coverage, exclusions, transferability, and any fees or conditions that apply to the specific aircraft.
- Your annual operating plan: Expected flight hours, trip profile, fuel-price assumption, and quotes for crew, hangar, insurance, maintenance, training, and operating fees.
- Full cost of capital: Show operating expenses, depreciation, and financing separately so the annual cash budget is not confused with an economic ownership-cost estimate.
What manufacturer support can—and cannot—tell you
Dassault Aviation says that more than 700 Falcon 2000s have been produced and that the family has accumulated more than 3.8 million flight hours, according to its family page reviewed in 2026. Those fleet figures provide context, not a forecast for an individual aircraft’s maintenance or resale value.

Dassault Falcon’s June 1, 2020 backgrounder describes the Falcon 2000LXS as having a 4,000-nautical-mile range at normal cruise with six passengers, two crew, and NBAA IFR reserves. It identifies two PW 308C engines. The stated range is a manufacturer performance figure under those conditions, not a guarantee for every payload, route, or operating environment. The backgrounder also says: “Dassault’s FalconCare guaranteed maintenance cost program assures budgeting predictability for parts, labor and AOG onsite service.” That is the manufacturer’s description of the program’s purpose, not an independent estimate that all ownership costs are fixed; confirm current eligibility and terms with Dassault.
