Dana White’s boxing project was planned as a TKO-managed promotion backed by Saudi partners Turki Alalshikh and Sela, with White saying he intended to run and control it. The project was later named Zuffa Boxing. In September 2025, TKO and Paramount announced that Paramount+ would exclusively distribute its events in the United States, Canada, and Latin America beginning in January 2026, initially with 12 cards. Those are announced terms and plans—not confirmation that every event or distribution commitment has since been delivered.
What White explained around UFC 313
UFC 313 took place on March 8, 2025. UFC’s post-event coverage says reporters asked White about the boxing project, but the most detailed contemporaneous account of how it would operate appeared in an Associated Press interview published March 5, just before the event. The operating details should therefore be understood as a plan White described around UFC 313, not as an announcement first made after the fights.
At that point, the venture had not yet been publicly named. White described a multiyear partnership involving TKO, boxing figure Turki Alalshikh, and Sela, a subsidiary of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. TKO was to be the managing partner and handle day-to-day operations. White, then UFC president and CEO, and Nick Khan, WWE president and TKO board member, were to lead operations. The Associated Press reported White’s account of the plan on March 5, 2025.
How the operating plan was supposed to work
TKO would manage the promotion
White presented operational control as a condition of his involvement: “There’s no way I would get into something that I couldn’t run and control,” he told the Associated Press. That is White’s description of his position, not a legal determination about the venture’s governance or a guarantee of how decisions would be made in practice.

- EFFECTIVE IMPACT DISPERSION – Are your training gloves affecting your accuracy? The RDX gloves dissipate the force of impact across the specially made, pre-curved anatomical structure of the sparring gloves due to the presence of Quadro Dome 3 padding, which uses EVA foam and SpongeX sheet. This results in a comfortable training experience for the users of the RDX heavy boxing gloves.
- PATENT PENDING LOMA TECH DESIGN – Do you face trouble forming the perfect fist, while using boxing gloves ? RDX gloves feature a PATENT PENDING single seamless LOMA Tech design used in the palm area and thumb of the boxing gloves. This helps create an improved alignment between the fist and thumb and along with an especially designed attached thumb allows the trainees to form the perfect fist and punch better with the training gloves.
- EXCEPTIONALLY DURABLE MATERIAL – No matter how hard you punch these gloves make sure to outlast your intense training. The use of advanced caliber Maya Hide ConvEX Skin Leather in the KARA Series training gloves makes them durable and reliable for long-term use while also providing a superior look and feel during Boxing, Muay Thai, MMA, Kickboxing, and heavy bag training sessions among other similar sports.
- FULL WRAPAROUND WRIST SUPPORT – A hassle-free design with sufficient support for your wrists. The hook and loop Fastener straps provide a secure fit and make it easy to put on or take off the kickboxing gloves for men and women along with providing better wrist support due to the full wraparound wrist strap, while the dual stitching in the heavy bag gloves makes them durable and resilient for extensive training sessions.
- SWEAT-FREE EXPERIENCE – Bid farewell to those sweaty palms and hands. With multiple ventilation holes strategically placed in the thumb sections of the lightweight boxing gloves, RDX ensures proper airflow management so that its customers get a sweat-free experience. Furthermore, the advanced perforated sheet for breathable ventilation in the palm area is sweat-wicking and minimizes sweat accumulation.
Broadcast rights would shape the launch
White said he would select a broadcast partner and work with that partner on programming and rights. The first event’s timing depended on securing a broadcast-rights deal, according to the AP account. The venture later became Zuffa Boxing. On September 29, 2025, TKO and Paramount announced an agreement under which Paramount+ would be the exclusive distributor of Zuffa Boxing events in the U.S., Canada, and Latin America beginning in January 2026. The release said the initial slate would comprise 12 cards, with plans to increase the number in later years. It also said select events could potentially be simulcast on CBS and other Paramount platforms; it did not promise a CBS simulcast for every card. See the Paramount and TKO announcement for its stated territories and terms.
Fighter support was part of the proposal
The AP reported that boxers would have access to UFC Performance Institute locations in Las Vegas, Mexico City, and Shanghai. The report did not specify eligibility rules or detail services available to every boxer, so access should not be read as a defined package of training, medical, or other benefits.

Where White said he wanted to hold events
White said the project would not be limited to Saudi Arabia. He described plans to take it across the United States and to Mexico, Canada, Brazil, Australia, and the United Kingdom. Those were stated ambitions in March 2025, not evidence that events have taken place in each country.
The later Paramount+ announcement confirmed a media-rights arrangement for the U.S., Canada, and Latin America; it did not establish a complete worldwide rights map or confirm event availability in every market White had named. Viewers outside those announced territories should not assume that the same service or distribution terms apply.

What viewers can—and cannot—conclude about watching
Paramount+ was announced as the exclusive distributor for Zuffa Boxing events in the United States, Canada, and Latin America beginning January 2026. The announcement’s initial slate was 12 cards. It does not establish the current event-by-event schedule, whether every announced card has occurred, or viewing arrangements elsewhere. Check the service’s current listings for specific events rather than treating the announcement as a complete or subsequently fulfilled schedule.

Why the distinction matters
The venture’s structure and White’s ambitions were described before its name and distribution arrangement were announced. TKO’s planned management role, White’s stated intention to control the project, the markets he hoped to reach, and the later Paramount+ deal are different kinds of claims: an operating plan, White’s stated position, an ambition, and announced media-rights terms. The available announcements do not establish delivery of every planned event or a finalized global distribution arrangement.
