Cyber Monday Streaming Deals 2025: Last Chance to Save on Disney+, HBO Max, Apple TV

The 2025 Cyber Monday streaming promotions have ended. Here is what Disney+, Hulu, HBO Max, and Apple TV actually offered, including eligibility, ad-tier restrictions, and post-promotion prices.

There is no remaining sign-up window for these promotions. Cyber Monday 2025 was December 1, and the Disney+, HBO Max, and Apple TV offers all ended that day. The deals are still worth documenting because the advertised prices, plan restrictions, and renewal terms were easy to misread—especially if you are checking an old article or evaluating a streaming bill that began during the promotion.

What the three Cyber Monday streaming deals actually offered

Service Promotional price Discount period Plan What happened afterward
Disney+ and Hulu $4.99 per month 12 months Disney+ Basic with Ads plus Hulu With Ads Renewed at $12.99 per month, or the then-current regular price
HBO Max $2.99 per month 12 months Basic with Ads Continued under the applicable regular rate unless canceled
Apple TV $5.99 per month 6 months Apple TV subscription Reverted to the then-current $12.99 monthly price unless canceled

All three prices were promotional rates, not permanent subscription prices. The Disney+ and Hulu offer ran from November 25 through 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on December 1, 2025. HBO Max was available through December 1, and Apple TV’s promotion ran from November 21 through December 1.

Disney+ and Hulu: $4.99 per month for one year

The strongest headline offer was a bundle: Disney+ Basic with Ads and Hulu With Ads for $4.99 per month for 12 months. Disney cited a regular price of $12.99 per month, making the promotion $8 per month cheaper than that reference price and $96 cheaper over a full year before taxes.

This was not a Disney+-only deal. It also did not include ESPN. Reports calling it a “$6 per month” promotion were rounding the exact price; the official offer was $4.99.

Who qualified

The offer was for U.S. residents age 18 or older who were new or eligible returning subscribers. It excluded:

  • Existing Disney+, Hulu, ESPN, or bundle subscribers
  • Annual subscribers
  • Accounts with a subscription cancellation already pending

After the 12-month promotional period, the subscription automatically renewed at $12.99 per month or the then-current regular price. Anyone who signed up needed to cancel before the discounted period ended to avoid another monthly charge.

HBO Max: $2.99 per month for 12 months

HBO Max offered its Basic with Ads plan for $2.99 per month for the first year. Warner Bros. Discovery described that as 70% off the then-current $10.99 monthly price. At the promotional rate, 12 months cost $35.88 before taxes, compared with $131.88 at the cited regular price—a potential first-year difference of $96.

The exact price was $2.99, not $3. The offer was available to new and returning subscribers, but it was not a blanket entitlement for every existing customer. Availability and eligibility depended partly on the billing channel. Sign-up options included HBOMax.com, Apple, Google Play, Roku, Samsung, Xumo, and selected partners. On Amazon Fire TV, the promotion was limited to new HBO Max customers.

  • Shows on the go: Take your TV to-go when traveling—without needing to log into someone else’s device.

The plan included advertising

This was not the ad-free HBO Max tier. Basic with Ads included advertising during shows and movies—HBO Max support documentation described roughly six minutes of ads per hour. Live events could also contain advertising regardless of plan.

That distinction matters when comparing the deal with a higher-priced plan. The cheaper subscription reduced the bill, but it also came with commercial interruptions and did not provide the features of Standard or Premium.

Apple TV: $5.99 per month for six months

Apple TV’s Cyber Monday promotion offered the service for $5.99 per month for six months. The regular price cited at the time was $12.99 per month, so the six-month promotional savings were $42 before taxes.

The offer was for new and qualified returning subscribers. Existing active subscribers were excluded, as were customers billed through a third-party provider. The promotion was available through the Apple TV website with direct Apple billing, rather than through every possible billing arrangement.

Unlike the Disney+ and HBO Max offers, this discount lasted six months rather than a year. After that period, the subscription reverted to the then-current regular price unless canceled. Calling it a “$6 deal” is a reasonable approximation for casual comparison, but $5.99 was the actual promotional charge.

Why the renewal terms matter more than the headline price

Temporary streaming discounts can create a larger recurring expense if they are left unattended. At the cited post-promotion prices, a subscriber who kept all three services would face approximately:

Service or bundle Monthly price after promotion Annualized cost
Disney+ and Hulu $12.99 $155.88
HBO Max $10.99 $131.88
Apple TV $12.99 $155.88
All three, using those cited rates $36.97 $443.64

Those annualized figures are not guarantees of current 2026 pricing. They show the budgeting risk: a subscription that starts at a combined $13.97 per month during the promotional periods could later cost about $36.97 per month at the cited regular rates. Taxes, price changes, and different billing terms can change the actual amount.

A practical cancellation checklist

  1. Open each service’s account page and identify the promotional end date.
  2. Check whether the subscription is billed directly or through Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, or another provider.
  3. Set a calendar reminder at least seven days before the discounted period ends.
  4. Cancel through the billing provider, not necessarily through the streaming app.
  5. Save the cancellation confirmation and check the next statement.

Disney and Hulu generally keep access active until the end of the current billing period or promotion after cancellation. HBO Max’s cancellation route depends on who handles billing. Canceling an app does not always cancel the underlying subscription.

Are any of these Cyber Monday deals still available?

No. The Disney+ and Hulu offer expired at 11:59 p.m. Pacific Time on December 1, 2025; Disney’s terms describe that as 2:59 a.m. Eastern Time on December 2. HBO Max’s offer ended December 1, and Apple TV’s offer also ended December 1.

For that reason, pages presenting these prices as current sign-up opportunities in 2026 are out of date. A new promotion may appear later, but it should not be assumed to carry the same price, plan, eligibility rules, or duration.

They needed to cancel before the promotional period ended, using the service or billing provider that managed the subscription. Direct billing, Apple, Google Play, Roku, Amazon, and other providers can have different cancellation steps.

The Bottom Line

These were legitimate discounts, but they were temporary and all expired on December 1, 2025. The exact offers were $4.99 per month for a Disney+–Hulu bundle for 12 months, $2.99 per month for HBO Max Basic with Ads for 12 months, and $5.99 per month for Apple TV for six months. The key money-saving step was not simply signing up—it was tracking the renewal date and canceling before the regular price began.
