What access and exam terms were advertised
For the 2023 promotion, Linux Foundation Education described 12 months of access to course content and materials. Certification purchases included 12 months of exam access and two attempts. THRIVE-ONE included 12 months of e-learning library access plus certification exam access. The announcement also said some advanced exams included an exam practice simulator.

The announcement described a catalog of more than a dozen vendor-neutral certifications and more than 100 e-learning or instructor-led courses. Those counts were the publisher’s claims in that historical promotion; they do not establish what is currently available.
What happened to the promotional gifts
Eligible buyers were offered one limited gift—a Linux Foundation cap, stuffed Tux, or socks—per email address, subject to availability. Instructions were to be emailed in mid-December 2023, with shipments beginning in mid-January 2024. These were campaign gifts tied to the expired promotion, not an ongoing product offer.
