The standout premium offer was the Bose SoundLink Max at about $299, down from $399. JBL’s PartyBox Stage 320 led the large party-speaker deals at roughly $400 versus $600, while the Anker Soundcore 2 and Sony SRS-XB100 provided the most accessible budget options. All prices below are historical; the event and its deals have ended.
Amazon described its Black Friday Week and Cyber Monday event as running November 21 through December 2, 2024, with some deals available until 11:59 p.m. Pacific on December 2, subject to stock and deal terms (Amazon’s announcement).

Prices were reported by deal coverage and comparison data from TechRadar, SFGATE, Engadget and Hip2Save. A “reference price” may be a listed price, MSRP or retailer-stated prior price, rather than a separately verified market average.
The standout premium deal: Bose SoundLink Max
Why the $299 price mattered
TechRadar identified the Bose SoundLink Max at approximately $299, reduced from $399, as its top Cyber Monday Bluetooth-speaker pick and the lowest price it had seen at that time (TechRadar’s deal report). SFGATE also reported the $299/$399 offer (SFGATE’s roundup).

The $100 reduction was significant because it lowered the barrier to a premium portable speaker, where absolute savings often matter more than the percentage alone. It was still a roughly $300 purchase, so this was a premium-value deal—not a budget recommendation.
Who should have bought it
- Listeners wanting a higher-end portable speaker for rooms, patios or travel.
- Buyers comfortable paying for build quality and sound rather than chasing the lowest price.
- People who wanted a substantial speaker without moving to a wheeled party format.
Coverage of the sale does not establish that $299 was the lowest price ever offered by every retailer. The defensible description is the lowest price TechRadar reported at the time.
Best party-speaker offer: JBL PartyBox Stage 320
What the $400 deal delivered
SFGATE reported the JBL PartyBox Stage 320 at about $400, down from $600. The $200 difference was the largest dollar saving among the headline portable-speaker examples, but the product belongs to a different class from a backpack speaker.

JBL’s product page lists two 6.5-inch woofers, up to 18 hours of playtime, party lighting, wheels, IPX4 splash resistance and microphone/guitar inputs (JBL PartyBox Stage 320 specifications). Those are product specifications, not terms of the 2024 promotion.

Trade-offs
- Strengths: high output, wheels, lighting and inputs for parties, karaoke or backyard use.
- Limitations: substantial size and weight, splash protection rather than full dust-and-submersion protection, and poor suitability for commuting or small apartments.
Other large Bose, Bang & Olufsen and JBL products also received sizable reductions in deal coverage, but a large dollar discount did not automatically make them better choices for ordinary portable listening.
Best budget Bluetooth speakers
Anker Soundcore 2
Engadget and SFGATE reported the Anker Soundcore 2 at roughly $28–$29 versus $40 (Engadget’s coverage; SFGATE’s coverage). That price made it the clearest low-cost choice for casual listening, kitchens, bedrooms or a first Bluetooth speaker.

The exact checkout amount could change with retailer, color, coupon, membership status and time of day. At this price, expect a simpler feature set and less bass and maximum volume than the larger models above.
Sony SRS-XB100
Engadget reported the Sony SRS-XB100 at $38, about $20 off. It was a sensible compact alternative for buyers who preferred a recognized brand and small footprint. Its lower price and portability mattered more than room-filling output, so it competed with the Anker on convenience rather than party performance.

JBL Clip 5
Hip2Save’s holiday comparison data listed the JBL Clip 5 around $49.99 against a $79.95 suggested price. The integrated carabiner made it practical for backpacks, bikes and travel. JBL lists IP67 protection, up to 12 hours of playtime and the built-in clip on its product page (JBL Clip 5 specifications).

IP67 indicates dust protection and resistance to temporary submersion under test conditions; it is a different promise from the PartyBox Stage 320’s IPX4 splash resistance. The Clip 5 prioritizes portability, not deep bass or high volume.
Beats Pill (2024)
SFGATE reported the 2024 Beats Pill at about $100, reduced from $150. That $50 cut made a newer, premium-leaning compact design more approachable, but it remained considerably more expensive than the Anker or Sony options. It suited shoppers who valued the Beats design and ecosystem more than the lowest cost.

Historical coverage spread offers across Amazon, Walmart, Best Buy, Target, Costco and manufacturer sites such as JBL. PhoneArena described especially active Bluetooth-speaker discounting in the $100–$200 range at Amazon, Walmart and Best Buy, with some Bose and Bang & Olufsen models receiving $100-plus reductions (PhoneArena’s retailer context).

A listed deal was not necessarily universal. Coupon activation, membership, a particular color, online-only stock, shipping or pickup and new versus renewed condition could change the final price. Retailer attribution therefore matters whenever a historical price is cited.
Was Cyber Monday cheaper than Black Friday?
There was no universal winner. Amazon’s promotion ran from November 21 through December 2, and many retailers treated Cyber Monday as the final day of a continuous holiday campaign rather than a wholly separate sale. Some prices were already live during Black Friday Week; others appeared as retailer-specific extensions, coupons or last-day inventory moves.
The practical lesson is that shoppers had to compare the price and terms on the day they intended to buy, rather than assume December 2 would always be cheaper than the preceding week.
Checks that would have prevented a bad speaker deal
- Confirm the exact model: Clip 5 is not Clip 4; SoundLink Max is not SoundLink Flex; the 2024 Beats Pill is not an older generation.
- Check seller and condition: verify whether the listing is new, renewed or refurbished and who provides the warranty.
- Read the price conditions: look for coupon activation, membership requirements, color restrictions and shipping or pickup limits.
- Match protection to use: compare the actual IP rating and whether the charging port must be dry before charging.
- Review battery and charging features: USB-C, phone charging, replaceable batteries and advertised runtime can differ substantially. “Up to” runtime varies with volume, lighting, bass and temperature.
- Check pairing compatibility: stereo or party pairing may require the same brand, protocol or product generation; two Bluetooth speakers do not automatically pair together.
- Separate product categories: soundbars and smart speakers appearing in broad speaker lists are not substitutes for portable Bluetooth models.
What these deals mean today
The 2024 offers are expired and should be treated as an historical record, not a current price list. For orientation only, JBL pages observed on August 16, 2026 showed the Clip 5 around $69.95 (with some pages or variants near $59.95), the Charge 5 around $139.95 against a displayed $179.95 reference, and the PartyBox Stage 320 around $549.95 against $629.95. Prices can vary by color, promotion, region and page state; these observations do not prove that any 2024 deal remains available.
