This sale has ended. ASUS’s 2025 ROG holiday promotion ran November 18 through December 1, 2025. The offers below are historical prices, not current deals: ASUS’s official promotion and retailer-reported prices are separated so you can see what was actually documented and judge the savings in context.
Quick verdict: the ASUS deals worth remembering
| Use case | Model and configuration | Historical price | Why it stood out |
|---|---|---|---|
| Budget everyday laptop | ASUS Vivobook 16, Core i5-13420H, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD | $429.99 at Amazon; PCWorld reported $70 off on December 1, 2025 | Useful memory and storage for ordinary work at a low reported price. |
| Work and study | ASUS Vivobook 14, Ryzen AI 7 350, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD | $649.99 at Amazon; PCWorld reported $200 off on December 1, 2025 | A stronger productivity configuration than a basic entry-level laptop. |
| Budget gaming | ASUS TUF F16, Core 5 210H, RTX 4050, 16GB RAM, 512GB SSD | $749.99 at Amazon; PCWorld reported $350 off on December 1, 2025 | A relatively accessible route to PC gaming, with a GPU best suited to 1080p use. |
| Gaming performance per dollar | ROG Strix G16 (2025), Core i7-14650HX, RTX 5060, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD | $1,199.99 at Amazon; PCWorld reported $300 off on December 1, 2025 | More graphics headroom and storage than the TUF deal, without reaching premium ROG pricing. |
| Premium gaming laptop | ROG Strix G18, G815LP-XS97; Core Ultra 9, RTX 5070, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD, 2.5K 240Hz display | $2,199.99, reduced from ASUS’s listed $2,499.99 | A substantial, high-spec configuration for buyers who want a large high-refresh display and stronger components. |
| Handheld gaming | ROG Xbox Ally, RC73YA-XB_ALLY.Z2A.16 | $499.99, reduced from ASUS’s listed $599.99 | A portable Windows gaming device, not a substitute for a full laptop. |
Retailer prices in the table were recorded by PCWorld’s December 1, 2025 roundup. ASUS’s official ROG page lists the Ally and premium Strix offers at its 2025 holiday promotion page. Advertised savings use the comparison prices shown by those sources; they do not establish a lowest-ever price or prove that the comparison price was the model’s usual recent street price.
Best ASUS laptops for everyday use
Best cheap ASUS laptop: Vivobook 16
At the reported $429.99 Amazon price, the Vivobook 16 paired a Core i5-13420H with 16GB of RAM and a 512GB SSD. That is a sensible baseline for browsing, schoolwork, video calls, and office applications. The $70 advertised reduction was modest, so the value case rested more on the configuration and final price than on a dramatic discount.
Before buying any similarly named Vivobook, check the listing for the screen specification, RAM, and SSD. A low price on an 8GB model or a small drive is not equivalent to this configuration. If memory is soldered, an 8GB model may be difficult or impossible to upgrade.
#1 Best Overall
- Intel Processor Up to 2.80GHz, 4GB DDR4, 128GB Storage
- 15" FHD IPS Display, Intel UHD Graphics
- 1x USB Type C, 1 x USB Type A, 1x Headphone/Microphone Combo Jack, HDMI
- Super Fast WiFi and Bluetooth, Integrated Webcam
- Chrome OS, AC Charger Included, Pastel Blue
Best for work and study: Vivobook 14
PCWorld recorded the Vivobook 14 with Ryzen AI 7 350, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB SSD at $649.99, $200 off at Amazon. Its newer processor label and compact size may appeal to a mobile productivity buyer, but a processor name alone does not establish battery life or real-world speed. Check the exact screen, weight, battery information, and return terms for the individual SKU.
OLED ultraportables: Zenbook and Vivobook S
The available 2025 price evidence does not establish a specific Cyber Monday Zenbook OLED offer, so there is no verified historical price to recommend here. For a future deal, a Zenbook 14 OLED or comparable Vivobook S makes sense when portability, contrast, and color are priorities. OLED can deliver deep blacks and vivid color, but it may cost more, reflect light, draw more power in some use, and calls for care with static on-screen content. An IPS panel can be the more practical choice for bright rooms or long stretches of fixed office interfaces.
Best ASUS gaming laptop deals
Best budget gaming pick: TUF F16
The TUF F16 configuration PCWorld listed at $749.99 included a Core 5 210H, RTX 4050, 16GB RAM, and 512GB SSD; its reported $350 saving was against the retailer’s stated comparison price. This is the clearest budget gaming pick among the documented retailer deals. The RTX 4050 tier is primarily a 1080p gaming option, and demanding new games may require reduced graphics settings. A 512GB drive can also fill quickly once several large games are installed.
Rank #2
- 15.6” NANOEDGE DISPLAY — Super slim bezel design with a smooth 60Hz refresh rate, vibrant 45% NTSC color gamut and 250-nit sustained brightness
- AMD Ryzen 5 7520U PROCESSOR — Designed for thin laptops, this processor gives you fast performance for browsing and light gaming with longer battery life with integrated AMD Radeon Graphics
- 8GB MEMORY + 512GB STORAGE — Faster memory that smoothly runs multiple applications at once with supersized storage for files, documents and more
- WI-FI 5 AND BLUETOOTH 5.1 — Seamlessly and quickly connect your devices
- SOUND BY SONICMASTER — Crisp, multi-dimensional sound with built-in speakers and an array microphone
“Budget” does not mean light or quiet: gaming laptops and their power adapters can be cumbersome, and sustained gaming can produce fan noise and heat. The exact screen matters too; a high refresh rate by itself does not tell you brightness, color coverage, or response quality.

Best balanced gaming deal: ROG Strix G16 (2025)
At the reported $1,199.99 Amazon price, the G16 had a Core i7-14650HX, RTX 5060, 16GB RAM, and 1TB SSD. That configuration offers a more comfortable graphics tier and more storage than the TUF offer. It is the best balance of the documented ASUS gaming prices for buyers who want more than an entry-level gaming laptop but do not need the most expensive ROG configuration.
PCWorld’s roundup named a Lenovo LOQ, rather than an ASUS model, as its overall performance-per-dollar gaming pick. That is useful perspective: a good ASUS discount does not automatically make it the best value among every brand.

Premium ROG Strix offers
ASUS listed the ROG Strix G18 G815LP-XS97 at $2,199.99, down from $2,499.99. ASUS described it with a Core Ultra 9 processor, RTX 5070 graphics, 32GB RAM, 2TB SSD, and a 2.5K 240Hz display. This is the choice for a buyer who will use the larger screen, memory, storage, and graphics capability—not simply someone attracted by the $300 advertised reduction.
ASUS also listed two G16 configurations: G615LP-XS97 at $2,099.99 (was $2,399.99) and G615LM-DS96 at $1,699.99 (was $1,999.99). The official page gives those exact SKU offers; compare the configuration details on the listing before treating either as equivalent to the separately reported $1,199.99 G16. Product-family names do not guarantee matching GPUs, screens, or storage.

Outbyte PC Repair FREERepair Windows errors before they cause bigger problemsFix Now →Outbyte Driver Updater FREEScan for outdated or missing drivers - takes under a minuteDriver Scan →For 1080p gaming, the extra cost of a premium RTX 5070 laptop may not translate into value you will use. A higher graphics tier is easier to justify with demanding games, higher resolution or refresh targets, or a plan to keep the machine for longer. Also weigh size, charger bulk, and the fact that gaming-laptop battery life is generally a weaker fit for all-day mobile use than a thin-and-light laptop.

Best handheld deal: ROG Xbox Ally
ASUS’s official page listed the ROG Xbox Ally, model RC73YA-XB_ALLY.Z2A.16, at $499.99 from $599.99. It is a deal to consider if handheld play and portability matter more than a laptop screen, keyboard, and conventional PC ergonomics. It should not be compared as if it were simply a cheaper ROG laptop: it serves a different use case.
What about ASUS monitors, graphics cards, routers, desktops, and accessories?
ASUS announced a 2025 holiday promotion spanning its store and major retailers, but the available offer details here do not verify specific Cyber Monday prices or configurations for monitors, graphics cards, routers, desktops, or peripherals. The matching WePC roundup has a 2024 URL and a December 1, 2024 update despite a headline referring to 2025, so it is not dependable evidence for individual 2025 deals. See that internally inconsistent page only as a reason to verify offers against dated primary or retailer listings.
For a future monitor purchase, compare resolution, refresh rate, brightness, color, response behavior, and panel type—not just the ASUS badge or the advertised percentage off. A 1440p high-refresh IPS display can be a strong general gaming target; OLED may offer better contrast and response characteristics but costs more and has static-image considerations. For routers or components, buy only when the feature you need—such as a particular connectivity standard or performance tier—justifies choosing that model over alternatives.

How to judge whether an ASUS sale price is actually good
- Match the SKU. Compare the complete model code and the CPU, GPU, RAM, SSD, display, and condition. A listing for “ROG Strix G16 (2025)” is not a complete specification.
- Check the seller and condition. Confirm whether the item is new and sold by ASUS or the named retailer, rather than an unverified marketplace seller, refurbished unit, or open-box listing.
- Interpret the discount carefully. “Was” prices show the retailer’s or manufacturer’s comparison price; they do not by themselves prove the recent market price or a record low. No price-history evidence here supports a “lowest price ever” claim.
- Match specs to your use. For a new Windows laptop, 16GB RAM is the practical baseline and 512GB SSD the comfortable minimum for general use; gamers should consider 1TB. If a laptop has 8GB or a small SSD, factor upgradeability and replacement costs into the real price.
- Check the display and portability. Verify brightness, resolution, refresh rate, and color details. For gaming laptops, account for weight, adapter size, heat, and noise as well as performance.
- Review checkout terms. Confirm stock, shipping, return window, and warranty treatment for the exact seller and SKU. ASUS’s product pages caution that listed specifications may be configurable maximums rather than the configuration being sold; verify the individual product page. The official ASUS US deals page and TUF Gaming F16 product page are useful for configuration checks, but current pages should not be mistaken for 2025 prices.
Where the 2025 offers were available—and when
ASUS said its 2025 promotion included the ASUS Store, Amazon, Best Buy, B&H, Micro Center, and Walmart. The retailer-specific prices above are attributed to PCWorld’s December 1, 2025 roundup, not represented as ASUS Store prices. ASUS’s ROG holiday page gives a promotion window of November 18 through December 1, 2025; it also shows a separate December 8–21 promotional block for selected products. That later block should not be folded into the Cyber Monday window. ASUS’s announcement is at its US news page.
PCWorld described several prices as still available on December 1, the final day of ASUS’s stated ROG promotion. That date-specific report does not establish that the offers continued afterward. Current ASUS deals pages may show different 2026 products and prices, so they cannot validate a historical 2025 offer.
