Curvestone AI and mortgage network Connect for Intermediaries announced a partnership on 12 October 2026, with a rollout planned across Connect’s 350 firms. The system is being used through the OMS workflow to review mortgage and protection case files. Connect CEO Liz Syms says a full human file check that typically takes two to three hours has been reduced to minutes; the announcement does not include an independent test of that time saving.
What the Curvestone–Connect partnership covers
The announcement describes a rollout to Connect for Intermediaries’ network of 350 firms. That is the stated scope of the rollout, not confirmation that all 350 firms were live when the partnership was announced. The system is intended to automate reviews of mortgage and protection case files. The companies also describe financial-promotion checks and financial-crime controls as platform use cases. The announcement frames the aim as checking every case and creating an evidence trail, rather than relying on sample checks.

Those are the companies’ descriptions of the system and its intended coverage. The announcement provides no independent evaluation of its accuracy, whether it reduces compliance risk, or how much of the network’s casework it has actually reviewed.
How the OMS workflow is meant to work
OMS is the workflow through which Connect says its team is using Curvestone. Syms said the integration means compliance staff do not have to transfer information into Curvestone’s separate system. She also said it is expected to make adviser pre-checks possible before a case reaches compliance. That describes a planned capability, not evidence that every adviser is already using it.
#1 Best Overall
An earlier announcement dated 28 April 2026 described Curvestone as integrated into the OMS mortgage case journey, with TMG Mortgage Network and Connect Mortgages among initial clients processing cases. In that account, the system reads and cross-references documents including fact finds, income evidence, bank statements, identity documents, suitability letters and supporting paperwork against a firm’s checklist. It surfaces issues such as missing documents, data mismatches, suitability gaps and regulatory exceptions in the OMS interface. This earlier deployment is distinct from the newly announced rollout across Connect’s 350 firms. The April announcement also described audit trails and bespoke checklists for larger firms, with a standard configuration for smaller ones; it does not establish that the service is currently available to every OMS customer.
Other integration options described by Curvestone
Curvestone’s integration page describes routing document packs from origination platforms or CRMs and returning structured decisions with evidence. It also lists a REST API and webhooks and claims UK and EEA data residency. These are the vendor’s product descriptions, not independently audited technical guarantees.

What is known about the time saving
Syms said a typical full human check of a mortgage or protection case takes two to three hours, depending on complexity. She said using Curvestone has brought that down to minutes, allowing the compliance team to spend more time on coaching and training. These are her reported figures and experience. The announcement gives no case sample, testing method or independent timing study, so they should not be treated as a verified benchmark for every firm or file.

Curvestone’s website gives different review-time figures for its product and manual review, but those figures come from the company and may describe a different workflow scope. They should not be combined with Syms’s account as though they were measurements of the same cases. The available figures do not establish a like-for-like comparison.

What the announcement does—and does not—establish
- Rollout scope: Connect and Curvestone describe a rollout covering 350 firms; the announcement does not confirm all firms are already using the system.
- Workflow: OMS is the integration route described for this partnership. Earlier reporting placed Curvestone in the OMS case journey and named Connect Mortgages among initial users.
- Review coverage: The stated objective is to check every case and retain evidence, but realized network-wide coverage is not reported.
- Performance: The reduction from hours to minutes is Syms’s account, not an independently verified result.
- Next steps: Curvestone founder and CEO Dawid Kotur described the partnership as its first phase and said enhancements were expected as rollout finishes. No specific enhancements or delivery dates were given.
