The CUKTECH 15 Ultra is a 20,000mAh power bank for people who need to charge a USB-C laptop, not just top up a phone. Its key combination is 140W maximum output from one USB-C port, 165W total output across ports, rapid dual-input recharging, and a small screen that reports live charging data. The trade-off is substantial: it weighs about 590g, has only three ports, and its 72Wh battery will not necessarily refill a large laptop.

What the CUKTECH 15 Ultra is—and who it suits

The CUKTECH 15 Ultra, model PB200U, is a lithium-ion power bank rated at 20,000mAh, or approximately 72Wh at the internal-cell level. “15 Ultra” is the model name, not a 15,000mAh capacity claim. It is designed for phones and tablets as well as USB-powered laptops, handheld gaming devices, cameras, and other gear. Its distinguishing features are high USB-C output, fast self-recharging, and a detailed TFT display. CUKTECH’s product page lists its specifications and supported charging features.

It makes the most sense for a laptop user or frequent traveler who values fast charging and clear feedback enough to carry a heavier pack. If your priority is emergency phone power in a pocketable package, its output and display may not justify the weight.

What the power ratings mean in use

140W from one port is not the same as 165W total

The first USB-C port can supply up to 140W under USB Power Delivery 3.1 when the connected device, cable, and charging conditions support that level. The 165W headline is the maximum combined output across ports. The second USB-C port is rated up to 65W. Android Authority reports USB-A output up to 18W, while TechRadar lists a three-device allocation of up to 100W + 45W + 15W. Treat the USB-A figure and simultaneous outputs as configuration-dependent, not as a promise that every port delivers its maximum while all are occupied.

The bank can charge three devices at once and reallocates power when ports are added or removed. A 140W-capable bank does not force 140W into a device: the device negotiates a supported rate and draws what it needs. A laptop with a lower USB-C input limit will charge below 140W, and some laptops need a proprietary charger or cannot accept power through USB-C at all. Use a suitable 5A-rated USB-C cable for the highest PD 3.1 levels; the included cable is intended for high-power charging, but check its rating if replacing it.

Compatibility depends on the device and charging standard

CUKTECH lists support for PPS, QC, PD 3.1, FCP, SCP, and MiPPS. That range improves compatibility, but proprietary fast charging works only when the device, cable, and power bank support the same standard. Many USB-C PD laptops, tablets, and phones can charge from it; the advertised maximum is not a universal speed guarantee.

Supports multiple fast-charging protocols like PD, PPS, QC, FCP, and SCP to meet all your charging needs.

For handhelds such as Steam Deck-class devices, the available output is ample, but the handheld’s own charging limit and the game’s power draw determine how quickly its battery rises. A gaming laptop may charge slowly, merely hold its battery level, or continue discharging during a demanding workload if its consumption exceeds USB-C input.

Beast Mode: fast recharge of the power bank itself

Beast Mode is a rapid self-recharging feature, not a higher charging mode for devices plugged into the bank. CUKTECH claims up to 70% charge in about 20 minutes using as much as 165W of combined USB-C input. Notebookcheck reports that the dual-input setup requires sufficiently powerful chargers, approximately 100W and 65W, connected to the two USB-C ports. You need two suitable USB-C charger outputs and appropriately rated cables to approach the advertised maximum; one powerful charger alone does not reproduce the full dual-input scenario.

The result depends on charger and cable capability, the bank’s starting charge and temperature, whether it is powering a device at the same time, and the charging protocols negotiated. The 70%-in-20-minutes figure is a best-case claim, not a guaranteed everyday recharge time. If the bank does not charge as quickly as expected, confirm both chargers are connected to the intended inputs, disconnect devices drawing power, check the cable ratings and supported protocols, and let the bank cool before trying again. See Notebookcheck’s account of Beast Mode requirements.

CUKTECH 15 Air 15000mAh 65W Laptop Power Bank, Slim Portable Charger
  • Slim 15,000mAh Power: Get more backup power without the bulk. The under-1-inch, 10.8-oz design fits easily in a laptop sleeve or backpack and can charge an iPhone 17 Pro Max about 1.6 times.
  • 65W USB-C Fast Charging: Deliver laptop-level power on the go. In internal testing, it charged a MacBook Air M3 to 48% or an iPhone 17 Pro Max to 67% in about 30 minutes.
  • Charge 3 Devices at Once: Power a laptop, phone, and earbuds together with smart power distribution and up to 100W total output across three ports, ideal for commuting, class, travel, and mobile work.
  • Fast Recharge with Live Status: Pair with a 100W PD charger to recharge about 23% in roughly 10 minutes. The TFT screen shows battery level, input/output watts, and estimated recharge time; GaN and silicon-carbon tech improve efficiency.
  • CCC Certified, Flight-Ready: Official China CCC (3C) certification adds travel confidence. At under 100Wh, this power bank fits U.S. carry-on battery limits; power banks must stay in carry-on baggage. Check airline rules.

What the display adds

The 1.3-inch TFT screen shows battery state, input and output power, voltage, amperage, charging direction, estimated charging or discharge information, temperature warnings, and detected or negotiated protocols. CUKTECH also describes screen-behavior settings, including an always-on option, and a setting to change the first USB-C port’s input/output role.

That feedback can help diagnose why a laptop is charging slowly: you can see whether the bank is supplying meaningful wattage and what voltage and protocol have been negotiated. It is more informative than a row of battery LEDs, but the small, information-dense screen can be cramped, as TechRadar notes. Treat its figures as operational readouts rather than laboratory-grade measurements. A displayed protocol does not prove that the connected device is receiving its maximum possible rate, and leaving the display on continuously uses additional energy.

Capacity: why 20,000mAh does not equal a full laptop charge

The 20,000mAh headline refers to the cells’ internal-voltage rating, equivalent to approximately 72Wh. The energy delivered at a device’s charging voltage is lower after conversion losses. Notebookcheck reports a nominal output-side capacity of approximately 12,000mAh at 5V/3A, a more useful comparison for understanding delivered energy. Compare power banks using watt-hours as well as milliamp-hours, and check the voltage basis of any mAh figure.

  • Everything You Need: Comes with the CUKTECH NO.20 Power Bank, 240W USB-C cable, storage bag, and user manual. Enjoy a 24-month warranty and dedicated customer support for any questions or assistance

Notebookcheck reports that in its testing the bank fully charged a recent 13-inch iPad Pro once with about 15% capacity remaining, and estimates roughly four full iPhone 16 Pro charges. Those are results for specific devices and conditions, not guarantees for every model. In TechRadar’s test, an HP Chromebook Plus charged from empty to about 98% in roughly two hours at a 45W charging rate before the bank ran out. A larger laptop, or one being used heavily while charging, can receive less than a full charge. The bank supplies useful energy, but 72Wh stored internally is not 72Wh delivered to the laptop.

Size, ports, and everyday convenience

At approximately 590g (1.3lb), the 15 Ultra is compact for its output class but heavy for a phone-first pocket battery. It is more at home in a backpack or laptop bag than a trouser pocket. TechRadar and Notebookcheck report dimensions of about 152 × 57 × 45mm; CUKTECH rounds them to 5.98 × 2.25 × 1.75 inches.

Two USB-C ports and one USB-A port are enough for a laptop, phone, and accessory, but the total of three ports is modest compared with some alternatives. There is no wireless charging and no built-in or retractable cable. A separate USB-C cable is more flexible and replaceable than an integrated one, but it is also one more item to remember. TechRadar and Notebookcheck report a cable and pouch in the package; contents can vary by seller or region, so check the listing.

Reviewers describe the enclosure as sturdy, and TechRadar found it remained cool while charging an HP Chromebook at 45W. Those are observations under particular test conditions, not a guarantee for every load or environment. High-wattage charging can generate heat; avoid using or recharging the bank in direct sun, an enclosed bag, or under bedding. Use undamaged, appropriately rated chargers and cables, and follow the manufacturer’s operating and storage instructions. If charging performance drops or a temperature warning appears, disconnect devices and allow the bank to cool.

Travel and airline rules

At approximately 72Wh, the 15 Ultra is below the commonly cited 100Wh threshold for many consumer spare lithium-ion batteries, and Best Buy describes it as flight approved. That does not mean it is universally permitted on every flight. Spare power banks generally belong in carry-on baggage rather than checked luggage, but airlines and countries can impose different limits, approval rules, or marking requirements. Check the current policy of your specific airline and destination before travel. Notebookcheck notes that the lack of a CCC/3C marking may matter on flights to or within China, despite CE and FCC markings.

How it compares with alternatives

Alternative Consider it if you prioritize Trade-off versus the 15 Ultra
Anker Laptop Power Bank More capacity, more ports, and integrated USB-C cables TechRadar describes it as more convenience-focused, with a less detailed display
Anker Prime 200W Power Bank A premium competitor and Anker’s accessory ecosystem Android Authority cited an approximately $129.99 price in its review, versus a $109.99 CUKTECH MSRP at that time; those are historical price references, not current quotes
UGREEN Nexode 165W 20,000mAh Power Bank A similar output class with a retractable USB-C cable Best Buy’s comparison listing describes 100W USB-C charging and 165W total output; check current availability and product specifications
CUKTECH 20 More stored capacity Android Authority describes it as a larger, heavier option
CUKTECH 15 Air A lighter, thinner pack for everyday phone, tablet, or MacBook Air use CUKTECH lists 15,000mAh, 65W USB-C output, 100W total output, and a 10.8oz weight; it is not a substitute for the Ultra’s 140W port

Product details and comparisons are available from TechRadar, Android Authority, Best Buy, and CUKTECH’s 15 Air page.

Who should buy it?

  • Choose it if you regularly charge a USB-C laptop away from an outlet and value 100W-plus capability.
  • It is a stronger fit if live wattage, voltage, temperature, and protocol information is useful to your setup.
  • Fast recovery between outings matters most if you can use two compatible USB-C charger outputs and suitable cables.
  • Skip it if you mainly need emergency phone power, want an ultra-light pack or integrated cable, or need more than 20,000mAh of stored capacity.
  • Look elsewhere if your primary computer needs more power than USB-C PD can provide, or if your destination’s travel rules require a marking the unit may not carry.

Troubleshooting slow charging

A laptop charges slowly despite the 140W rating

  1. Disconnect other devices so the bank can allocate its output to the laptop.
  2. Connect to the highest-power USB-C port and use the supplied cable or a verified 5A-rated USB-C cable.
  3. Check the laptop’s specifications to confirm its USB-C port accepts charging and determine its maximum input; some laptops require a proprietary charger.
  4. Read the display’s voltage and wattage to see what the bank is negotiating.
  5. Let the bank cool if it is hot, then retry. Test with the laptop asleep or powered off to distinguish a charging limit from power consumption under load.

The bank does not approach the Beast Mode recharge claim

  • Check that two sufficiently powerful USB-C chargers are connected, rather than relying on a single charger.
  • Verify charger port allocation, cable ratings, and protocol compatibility.
  • Disconnect devices drawing power and retry when the bank is at a moderate temperature.
  • Remember that the approximate 70%-in-20-minutes claim depends on conditions and is not a guaranteed result.

The first USB-C port behaves unexpectedly

Because the first USB-C port can be assigned an input/output role, check its on-screen setting if it is not behaving as expected. TechRadar’s review discusses the port’s configurable role: TechRadar.
