NTA dated the CUET UG 2025 advance city-intimation notice 7 May 2025. It let candidates check their exam-centre city using their application number and date of birth, but it was not the admit card. The notice set the computer-based exam window as 13 May through 3 June 2025 and pointed candidates to Annexure 1 for the subject- and shift-wise schedule. These dates are historical and do not apply to a later CUET exam.
What the CUET UG 2025 city slip told candidates
The National Testing Agency’s 7 May 2025 notice announced the advance intimation of examination-centre cities. Candidates could check or download the slip with their application number and date of birth. It provided the city where the centre would be located, not the centre’s exact address.
NTA explicitly cautioned: “The Candidates may please note that this is ‘NOT’ the Admit Card for CUET (UG) – 2025.” The city slip was advance location information, not permission to enter the examination.
How the schedule was set out
The 7 May notice listed the overall CUET UG 2025 computer-based test window as 13 May to 3 June 2025. It directed candidates to Annexure 1 for the subject-wise and shift-wise schedule. The notice did not describe that schedule as a revised schedule.

Later NTA notices addressed particular exam dates and affected candidates. The 10 May admit-card notice covered exams scheduled for 13–16 May. The 15 May notice covered exams scheduled for 19–24 May and said the city and schedule information had been shared in the 7 May city slip.
NTA’s CUET UG notice archive also records later actions, including an Accountancy retest, rescheduling of Tamil and Urdu, and cancellations at a Srinagar centre. Those were specific updates; the archive does not establish that one comprehensive revised schedule replaced the original for every candidate. Candidates affected by a later change needed to follow the notice applicable to their subject, date, shift, or centre.
City slip and admit card: the difference
| Document | Purpose | Access details in NTA notices | Timing |
|---|---|---|---|
| City-intimation slip | Advance information about the city of the exam centre; not the exact address or an admit card. | Application number and date of birth. | Notice dated 7 May 2025. |
| Admit card | Examination entry document; candidates were told to read its instructions. | Application number and password, as directed in the 10 May notice. | Released in date groups. The 10 May notice covered 13–16 May exams; the 15 May notice covered 19–24 May exams. |
What to do if checking a 2025 notice
- Use NTA’s official CUET UG website and locate the relevant 2025 notice or login link. The city-slip notice specified application number and date of birth; the admit-card notice specified application number and password.
- Check the subject, exam date, shift, and centre details against the relevant notice and your admit card. Do not treat the city listed on the slip as the exact centre address.
- For difficulty checking or downloading the city slip, or for admit-card discrepancies, the notices list NTA at 011-40759000 or [email protected].
The 2025 exam window has passed. The dates and login instructions above describe that archived exam cycle, not current availability for CUET UG 2026 or any later cycle.
