CBSE released the CTET answer keys and scanned OMR answer sheets for the exam held on January 21, 2024. Candidates could challenge an answer only from February 7 through February 10, 2024, until 11:59 p.m., for ₹1,000 per question. That deadline has passed: the current CTET archive lists the January 2024 Paper 1 and Paper 2 keys, but the archive does not reopen the objection process.
Where to find the January 2024 CTET answer keys
The CTET website’s previous-year answer-key archive lists the January 2024 documents for both papers: CTET Jan24 Answer Key P1 and CTET Jan24 Answer Key P2. The CBSE notice said scanned images of candidates’ OMR answer sheets and the answer keys were made available through a link on ctet.nic.in during the February 2024 viewing period.
The archive is a place to consult the historic documents, not a way to submit a new challenge. The objection window closed in 2024.
What the February 2024 objection process allowed
CBSE’s notice, dated February 7, 2024, set the challenge period from February 7 to February 10, ending at 11:59 p.m. Candidates could challenge an answer key through the link on the CTET website.

- Fee: ₹1,000 for each question challenged, payable by credit or debit card.
- Refund: The notice described the fee as non-refundable, while also specifying that it would be refunded if subject experts accepted the challenge. A refund was therefore conditional, not automatic.
- Review: If experts found an error and accepted a challenge, CBSE said a policy decision would be notified.
- Final decision: The notice said, “The decision of Board on the challenges shall be final and no further communication will be entertained.”
These were the rules for the temporary February 2024 process; they do not establish a current challenge route.
