The following figures are U.S. monthly prices announced by Crunchyroll on February 2, 2026. Percentage changes are arithmetic calculated from the old and new prices, not percentages published by the company.

Crunchyroll described the Fan increase as its “first price increase for Crunchyroll’s Fan Tier in the U.S since 2019.” See the company’s February 2, 2026 U.S. price announcement.
When did the higher price take effect?
Crunchyroll said existing monthly subscribers would be charged the adjusted price on their next billing date after March 4, 2026. That is not a statement that every subscriber’s price changed on March 4: the actual date depends on the subscriber’s billing cycle. The company announced the changes on February 2.

When did Crunchyroll’s free tier end?
Free ad-supported viewing ended December 31, 2025, according to Ars Technica’s February 2, 2026 report. The price announcement came weeks later. Those dates establish the sequence of events, not that ending free viewing caused the paid-plan increases.
What should subscribers check before choosing a plan?
Crunchyroll’s current premium page describes ad-free access to its library and notes that benefits vary by tier and region. The available information here does not establish a complete current U.S. feature-by-feature comparison, so check the plan display for your location before choosing.
