The highest-value home linked to Cristiano Ronaldo in recent coverage is a newly built residence in Quinta da Marinha, near Cascais, Portugal. Architectural Digest estimated its value at $30 million to $38 million in a 2026 article, but that is a media estimate—not a verified sale price or formal appraisal. The broader picture is less tidy: published accounts mix homes described as current, former properties, rentals and disputed ownership, so the figures below are best read as reported prices with dates and status attached.

How to read reports about Ronaldo’s homes

Celebrity real-estate roundups often put purchase prices, sale prices and estimated current values side by side. They are not equivalent. A home bought years ago for a stated amount may now be worth more or less; an estimated value is not proof of a transaction; and a report that someone lives in or rents a property does not establish legal ownership.

The accounts summarized here come from Architectural Digest, idealista/news, EL PAÍS and Realtor.com. They do not provide a consistent inventory, official title records or comparable current appraisals. For that reason, this is a reported overview, not a definitive ranking of properties Ronaldo owns today—and it does not add the figures into a portfolio total.

Quinta da Marinha, Portugal: the highest reported estimate

Architectural Digest’s 2026 article puts the estimated value of Ronaldo’s Quinta da Marinha home at $30 million to $38 million and describes it as the reported most expensive home in Portugal. The same article says he bought the 2.47-acre plot for about $7.2 million. Those are attributed reports: the land purchase figure is not the home’s value, and the house estimate is not a documented sale price or formal appraisal.

Realtor.com describes the house as built between 2022 and 2023 and reports a $30 million figure. It lists two pools, a spa, a theater, a tennis court and a 30-car garage. Architectural Digest also mentions indoor and outdoor pools, a movie theater, a tennis court, a gym and the garage. In February 2025, idealista/news described a residence with 900 m² of built area and indoor and outdoor pools, but the reviewed passage did not give a price. Because the descriptions and dates differ, the construction timeline, present status and valuation should be treated as reported details rather than independently verified facts.

Other reported homes and property holdings

Location What has been reported Status and price context
Funchal, Madeira, Portugal A seven-story home made from a former warehouse or nightclub, with rooftop and indoor pools and gyms. Architectural Digest reports an approximately $8 million project, purchased in 2015 and completed in 2019. idealista/news reported a value near €8 million in 2025. These are reported figures, not a verified current valuation.
Lisbon, Portugal Coverage describes multiple apartments and does not establish a single, certain property history. Architectural Digest reports an Avenida da Liberdade apartment bought for around $2 million in 2015, and separately describes a 3,100-square-foot apartment for $7 million. Realtor.com dates a 3,100-square-foot penthouse purchase to 2018; idealista/news reports a Castilho-building penthouse bought in 2019 for about €7.2 million. The dates, locations and prices do not line up cleanly enough to merge these reports into one confirmed transaction. EL PAÍS separately reported an apartment near Eduardo VII Park where illegal rooftop construction was ordered demolished.
La Finca, Madrid, Spain Architectural Digest describes an 8,600-square-foot, seven-bedroom home designed by Joaquín Torres. idealista/news also describes the residence and amenities from Ronaldo’s Real Madrid years. Architectural Digest said he reportedly still owned it and offered it for rent in 2023. That is a reported status, not independent confirmation of present ownership.
Turin, Italy Architectural Digest describes two modern villas on Strada San Vito Revigliasco; idealista/news describes a luxury residence acquired in 2018. Architectural Digest reported that the home was rented to Juventus player Dušan Vlahović. Ownership and rental status are attributed claims.
Marbella, Spain A four-bedroom holiday villa in the La Resina development. Architectural Digest reports a $1.6 million purchase; idealista/news reports a 2019 purchase around €1.4 million. The figures are broadly compatible after currency conversion and rounding, but remain secondary-source reporting.
New York, United States A Trump Tower apartment purchased in 2015. EL PAÍS reported an $18.5 million purchase and a 2022 sale for $11.32 million after successive reductions. Architectural Digest reported a $7.18 million sale. The sources differ, so the sale figures should not be silently reconciled.
Gerês, Portugal A property associated with Ronaldo and former teammate Pepe. idealista/news said it was sold to Pepe; Architectural Digest said reports indicated a sale while property documents still showed Ronaldo as owner. Public coverage does not conclusively settle legal ownership.
Alderley Edge and Cheshire, England Reports refer to separate homes and episodes: an earlier Alderley Edge property and a later Cheshire residence. Architectural Digest says the Alderley Edge house was sold in 2019 after failed sale attempts in 2009, and that the family relocated quickly from a later Cheshire property. idealista/news gives a reported £5 million value for a Cheshire property. Neither account supports describing both as current Ronaldo-owned homes.
Saudi Arabia idealista/news reported a residence on a private island and an approximate $15 million value. This account was not corroborated by documentary evidence in the reviewed coverage, so it should not be used to rank his homes or presented as an established value.

What the reported prices can—and cannot—show

Quinta da Marinha stands out because recent coverage gives it the largest stated estimate. Beyond that, a simple “most expensive homes” ranking would imply more certainty than the available reporting supports. The amounts refer to different things: plot purchase, home purchase, estimated value and completed sale. They also span different years, currencies and sources.

For example, idealista/news’s 2025 reporting gives a near-€8 million figure for the Madeira residence and about €7.2 million for a Lisbon penthouse purchase, while EL PAÍS’s 2024 account gives both a 2015 New York purchase price and a 2022 sale price. None of those historical amounts is a current, comparable appraisal. The available reports also do not establish a complete property count or a reliable total value for Ronaldo’s real-estate holdings.

A glimpse of how Ronaldo described his Madrid home

During a 2015 video tour of his Madrid home, Ronaldo described the importance of rest: “I spend nearly half a day here,” he said while showing off his bed, “because to perform good and be at a good level you have to rest good.” Architectural Digest reported the tour and quote.
