Haji Wright is the clearest case with a season contribution figure: FourFourTwo reports he scored 18 goals in all competitions. Below, the wage order is separated from the limited value assessment so estimates are not mistaken for a definitive performance ranking.

The annual figures are the database’s stated estimates; they are not club-confirmed contract amounts. Which Coventry City players offer the best value for money?
A defensible value ranking would compare wage with season-matched contribution and availability, ideally using minutes and role-appropriate measures. The sources available here do not provide comparable minutes, starts, goals, assists, defensive measures or availability data for all six. Any full 1-to-6 value order would therefore imply more certainty than the evidence supports.

Haji Wright: strongest documented contribution
FourFourTwo reports Wright scored 18 goals in all competitions during Coventry’s 2025–26 promotion-winning season. That is a concrete contribution indicator alongside SalaryLeaks’ estimated £25,000 weekly wage, but it is not a complete measure of value and cannot be compared fairly with the other five from the figures available here.
Jack Rudoni: positive qualitative context, not a season comparison
FourFourTwo identifies Rudoni as a key player in its 2026–27 preview. That is editorial context about the team’s outlook, not a statistical assessment of his 2025–26 output or evidence that his estimated £15,000 weekly wage represents better value than another player’s.

The remaining players: insufficient comparable evidence
The wage table lists Grimes, Simms, Thomas-Asante and Woolfenden, but the cited sources do not provide a season-matched set of performance and availability measures for them that can be weighed against their pay. Their position in the wage table should not be treated as a value ranking.

Salary alone is not a measure of value. A useful comparison would match each player’s estimated pay to contribution in the same season, account for appearances and minutes, and compare players within roles or explain how different roles are being weighed.
