What happened to McCabe’s Plymouth loan
Argyle Life reported that McCabe’s season-long loan was ended by mutual agreement in January 2026. It said he made 13 appearances during the spell. That appearance total describes his time at Plymouth; it does not establish a transfer-fee saving for Middlesbrough. Argyle Life.
